"Erm yeah. I snuck into the family vault to  get them. Magic is banned in the kingdom."
                          
"It is?"
                          
"Mhm...." His eyes dull and I sense his emotions swirl. 
                          
Wait!
                          
"Roman! I can sense you're feelings!!!" I grab his shoulders and turn him towards me.  
                          
"Uhh... Ok?"
                          
"I haven't been able to do that since your father took me! What ever your dad did to dampen my magic is wearing off!"
                          
His eyes go wide as he understands.  
                          
"But you used your powers when we met. You teleported to me." 
                          
"Oh that? That drained me. That was stored power that is connected to my emotions. No one can take that away but it's just a small burst of power."
                          
"Woah... That's cool."
                          
I roll my eyes at him. 
                          
"It's basic Magic. This," I say picking up a book. "This is real Magic."
                          
We pick up all the books and I start to read.

A week or so pasted and I made great progress. Then again it mostly comes naturally. I'm now able to sense most of Roman's emotions. It comes in handy because I can tell when he's coming to see me. 
                          
There is one emotions I can't really make out but he feels it a lot when I'm around him... It feels familiar... Almost like an emotion my mom gave off but I can't pin it down. It's been to long. 
                          
 Finally, relearn the thing I have been aching to do.
                          
 "You better not be taking me to a cliff to push me off." 
                          
I roll my eyes but smile. I convinced Roman to let me take him somewhere in the forest. I stop in a clearing not to far away from the tent. 
                          
"Ok..." I look back at him a smirk.  "You ready?"
                          
"Umm, I guess so?" He says with a confused look on his face. 
                          
I laugh at his confusion before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath in. Suddenly my whole body is wrap in a warmth I had almost forgot. 
                          
(Roman's POV)
                          
I watch Virgil closes his eyes a breath in. 
                          
Suddenly his whole body is consumed in purple fire.
                          
"Virgil!!"I yell panickedly. 
                          
The fire burns so bright I have to look away. Then it's gone. I look back to see a medium sized, purple dragon where Virgil was.
                          
"V-Virgil?" I ask it. 
                          
It seems to puff up it's chest like it's beaming. Like an adorable puppy when it knows it did something right.
                          
"You... You did it!" I exclaim running to him.
                          
"You look incredible..." I whisper softly taking in his beautiful purple scales. 
                          
I walk to his face and see his eyes have turn the deep purple they do when he uses magic. He spreads his wings and looks longingly to the sky.
                          
"Virgil... I'm sorry but you can't... I don't want you to be seen and get taken away."
                          
He looks back to me and then sighs. Once again his body is up in flames but this time I watch as he shrinks back to his normal size.   
                          
When the fire clears I see his smiling face.
