"Huh? What was I doing here?" Izuku woke up from the cold cement floor. Izuku felt dizzy for a while and blinked his eyes. He looked up to the window, the sky outside had turned orange dawn. The hands on the clock showed that it was 5 minutes to 7. He realized he was still in his classroom. Then, Izuku got up from the floor and took his bag from his table. He recalled the incident that happened before he fainted, Izuku let out a heavy sigh and he walked out quickly from the school building. Izuku went to search for his beloved notebook. "Oh, it's here." The book was floating in the fishpond. The fishes were nibbling at the book.

"This is not food, stupid fish. This is my notebook. Fools...," Izuku reached for his notebook. He lifted the book out of the water. The book was dripping with water and it reeked of fish and moss. Looking at his wet notebook, a flashback during his childhood came to. Izuku recapped the feeling of how devastated he was when the doctor explained to his mom that Izuku would never get a quirk in his life. After that, how his mom cried and hugged him, apologizing to him just because she could not help him in any way at all.

"Do not say that mom. At that time, I wanted you to tell me..." Izuku muttered to himself.

He tried to stop thinking about all those depressing moments and attempted to imagine the idea of what he could be in the future, but he realized something. While holding his precious notebook in his hand, he thought about when Katsuki threw it off like a garbage earlier, he wanted to get angry but-

"Eh? Why can't I feel angrier?"

He imagined his table that was full of cursing and abusive words. Every day, he needed to put up with all the bullying. No. Nothing came up when he thought about it. Then, it hit him.

Anger.

"You may hold it back for a while but once it overflows, you will lose all your emotions and feeling. There will be none left in your body; happiness, anger, sadness, love. All of it will be gone. You will become an empty shell, Midoriya-kun." Izuku recalled what the light sphere said to him about the Void pact.

"It's really gone, huh?" he muttered to himself. Izuku always knew that this day would come. However, he reminded himself of the reason he made the decision to save the love of his life. An empty shell of him would be the price and he already agreed on that. "But I promised that I'll tell him one day. It's just... not today," Izuku gripped at his chest strongly, and then, he continued to walk back to his home.

"Gloop," A slime-like creature emerged from the road manhole cover.

After All Might saved Izuku from the Sludge Villain, All Might advised him that not anyone can be a hero truly if they ever wanted to save other people, heroes need a good quality quirk to manage all the hardships and heroes must always put their lives at stakes. Those words made Izuku's heart sank because for him, his path now is only to be a hero is to save Katsuki's life. How could he save Katsuki's life if he were not able to? At the moment that his 'happiness' was gone, he just wiped away all of the negative feelings and just calmed himself down. There were other things that kept him sane. The most important thing was his love for Katsuki was still there. He grasped back to reality and decided to end the talk with All Might. Izuku wiped his nose and continued to walk back home.

Suddenly, Izuku heard a loud explosion and chilling screams from afar. There were many people running away from something. The authorities were trying to keep the situation in hand while the heroes were busy running around trying to save lives. Izuku could not stop his feet from getting nearer to the commotion to find out the situation. At the center of the commotion was the Sludge Villain. He was laughing madly while keeping a poor soul inside his mud body. The villain must have gotten away when Izuku grabbed All Might while they were in the air.

"It's my... fault!" Izuku gasped, but then he realized that the villain was keeping someone else inside him at that moment. Izuku knew that the victim could not breathe because the villain covered the victim's airways using his quirk. Cupping his mouth, he hoped that someone, a true hero, will come to the victim's aid. None of the heroes moved because the villain had a hostage in his grasp. Izuku looked closely at the victim and realized that it was someone he knew. Someone dear to him.

Kacchan.

"Swoosh"

Izuku's leg moved by himself. Everyone was shocked to found that a boy was running towards the villain by himself. A hero called out to him and shout to him to stop but Izuku could not hear it and ran as fast as he could towards Katsuki and the villain. Izuku managed to recall the hero notes that he had been keeping, he flung his bag that was full of books firmly into the villain's big eyes and managed to make the villain loosen his grip on Katsuki.

"Kacchan!!" Izuku yelled. "Why? Why are you here??!!" Katsuki realized that Izuku was there in front of him. "My legs moved by themselves! I... really don't understand why!!!"

"Because... your face seemed to be calling for help!" Izuku said while he tried to manage a smile on his face. The villain covered Katsuki's mouth and nose again using his mud quirk. Katsuki's eyes began to roll up due to oxygen deprivation. Izuku quickly grabbed Katsuki's hand to pull Katsuki away from the villain but the villain tried to consume both of them instead. Izuku started to get pulled into the villain's body along with Katsuki this time. All of a sudden, a big muscly hand grabbed both of the two boys' hands and pulled them away from the Sludge villain, "DETROIT SMASH!!!" A high-pressure wind blew away all the villain's body and there was nothing left of him. The wind pressure turned the clear sky into heavy rain.
