Izuku slowly opened his eyes. All around his was black and dark but he knew he was floating in a space of nowhere. It was dark and endless, like an abyss. "Huh? Am I dead?" he thought. "Well, it's not that bad? It's quiet here," he felt the tranquillity in the space made him calm. He started to move around but he still stuck in one place. Suddenly, he saw something that took his breath away.
"Kacchan?!" Izuku yelled.
Katsuki's body was in a state of lying down but floating a few meters from Izuku. Katsuki was still unconscious. It was like he was in a deep sleep. His body was coated in a red bubble. Izuku tried to swim to move near Katsuki's body but he still stuck in that place. He tried to struggle or flailing around but to no avail. He could not move an inch towards Katsuki.
"That is your doing, you know?" a soft child-like voice said to Izuku. "What? Who are you? Where..." Izuku tried to search for the owner's voice. He found a small sphere of white light floating beside him. "Are you the one who's talking to me?" Izuku tried to poke the light sphere but the sphere moved away. "Yes, it's me. Please refrain yourself from touching me, Midoriya-kun." Izuku gasped loudly.
"How did you know my name? What did I do to Kacchan? Why are we here?" Izuku asked frantically still trying to grab Katsuki's body but he could not move.
"Calm down Midoriya-kun. First of all, Midoriya-kun and Bakugou-kun are not dead yet. You are in a place where the souls stop for a while before heading to their respective places." the light explained. "I know I'm going to die but why is Kacchan also here?" Izuku asked.
"Oh my, you didn't remember anything at all? Alright then. Let's see it shall we?" A projection appeared in front of them. Izuku could see the scene before he fell backward. The last scene before Izuku blacked out.
When Izuku fell, Katsuki ran and used his explosion quirk to jump across the high fence. While falling, Katsuki used his quirk again to push himself towards Izuku. He managed to catch Izuku in his arms. Katsuki tried to use his quirk again to slow down the fall but he was too panicked to make it big enough to support both of them. Then, he hugged Izuku close to his body and switched place with Izuku so that he was the one to crash first. Katsuki cushioned the fall with his body to protect Izuku. Both of them were lying on the ground. Blood started to flow from Katsuki's head.
The projection stopped.
"NO!! Kacchan!!" Izuku covered his mouth. The projection disappeared. He looked at the floating Kacchan. "It's... It's my fault he's here, isn't it?" Izuku's tears escaped from the corner of his eyes and flowed down his freckled cheeks. "What have I done?" Izuku despaired.
"Midoriya-kun. There's a way to make things right again. A chance for you to rewind the time but," Izuku lifted his face towards the light sphere. Izuku saw a glint of hope. "But great thing comes with a heavy price, Midoriya-kun. If possible, you need to think this thoroughly and decide what is the best for both of you." the light sphere advised.
After looking at Katsuki for a while, Izuku said, "Tell me."

"I AM HERE! I AM HERE!" Izuku opened his eyes slowly and stretched his arms to turn off the alarm clock. He rubbed his eyes and yawned slightly. After sitting up on his bed for a while, he grabbed his shirt near to his chest and sighed. He stretched his body for a while and looked at his clock. It was 6.45 am September 24th, again. Izuku took a deep breath and went into the toilet to get ready for the day.
The day he decided to change his life for the one he loves.

"Izuku! Have you wake up yet?" Inko yelled to her son to make sure her son had woken up and would not be late for school. While preparing the table for breakfast, all of a sudden, she felt a hug from behind. Startled from it, she realized it was her lovely greenette son, "Oh, good morning Izuku. What happened dear?" "Nothing. I just miss you, Mom." Izuku replied while releasing his mother from his hug and sat down at the table. "Awh. I'm sorry I was working late last night, Izuku. How surprising. I thought you would just wake up by now. What do you want for breakfa-" "A toast, a couple of bacons and an egg with the sunny side up. Right, Mom?" "Eh? How did you know that?" "Nothing, I can just smell it."
Inko rushed to get her house keys from the shoe cabinet, "Izuku! Don't forget-" "I'll eat my breakfast properly, Mom. Have a nice day at work," Izuku waited for his mom at the door. Before Inko reached for the door handle, Izuku called out to her, "Mom?" "Yes, honey?" "If you come back early tonight, can I have katsudon for dinner?" Izuku looked down on the floor, wondering if his mother would be back late again. "Sure honey. Don't be late for school okay? Inko hugged her son and kissed his forehead. Izuku blushed and chuckled. He was glad he could still be with his mother again.

"BAM!!!" Someone kicked his table. Izuku raised his head abruptly. Izuku was waiting for 'him'.
"OI DEKU!! HOW COME YOU'RE STILL HERE?! JUST DROP OUT AND GO DUMP YOURSELF IN THE RIVER WILL YA?!!" Katsuki yelled at Izuku. Izuku stood up smiled brightly at Katsuki and said, "Kacchan! I-" Izuku abruptly clutched at his chest and dropped back to his seat. It seemed like Izuku was holding back something that was hurting at his chest. Izuku recalled the pact that he made in the abyss and stopped himself from saying anything about it.
Katsuki was shocked when Izuku suddenly stood up to him. He did not know that Izuku still has it in him to look Katsuki in the eyes. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FUCKING DEKU??!! If you have something to say, just fucking keep it to yourself. It's gonna be something dumb anyway. GET LOST!!" Katsuki walked away with his friends while they were laughing at Izuku. Katsuki saw Izuku's hand was clutching at his own shirt but chose to ignore it. "Huh, weakass."
"No. I can't tell him. If not, it will be all for nothing," Izuku huffed, still holding in the pain at his chest while watching Katsuki from afar.
