"you're all awful at scatagories." i said, rolling my eyes.
"we're only good at games that win with luck." jake responded.
"clearly, because the last i checked, the galápagos island isn't a city in the united states." i laughed, making lilah and tara crack up since the boys literally could not play the game.
"maybe you guys are just too good at this game." corey responded.
"you can barely tie your own shoes, corey. it's definitely not just because we're good." i laughed, making everyone laugh except corey, who was now pouting.
"do you guys wanna order chipotle?" colby asked.
"that's cool with me. elton and grayson will be here in like half an hour." i informed everyone, lilah shooting me a look. elton and i made it official the prior night but i only told lilah and tara because elton and i wanted to make sure it's what we wanted before everyone got their panties in a twist.
the boys all developed a very protective bond with me after what happened at the 40/40 that night. i've only been living with them for a little over a month but i feel like we've been friends our whole lives.
"shit, my moms calling me, i'll be right back." i announced, walking towards my room. "hey mom."
"hi, honey! i was thinking about stopping by you and nathan's apartment on wednesday. aunt hillary and i are going shopping in the city for a little pre black friday trip." she said. perfect timing.
"mom, nathan and i broke up." i said, finally deciding this is a situation i can't get out of.
"what?!" she practically yelled in the phone. "why? youre kidding me right? this is a prank?"
"he cheated on me, mom. im not going to stay with a cheater. i don't think that lowly of myself."
"nathan? he would never do that." she said.
"he did." i rolled my eyes even though she couldn't see me.
"so where are you living then?" she asked.
"with grayson." i lied... kinda. i was living with grayson before i moved in with the boys. "listen, i'm going for dinner with baylen and lilah. i'll call you later."
i hung up before anything else could be said, suddenly feeling bad for myself. i couldn't do much about it because corey came barging into my room.
'are you okay?' he mouthed to me.
"i'm fine." i huffed, throwing myself back on my bed. "grayson and elton are here... just wanted to check up on you." he said, starting to walk about of my room.
"corey?"
"what?" he asked, popping his head back in.
"thank you for checking on me." i smiled. "i'll be out in a minute."
"hey guys." i smiled to grayson and elton.
"hey." they said in unison, elton getting his phone out. my phone dinged.
'you look so good ash' - elton
i shot him a big grin and put my phone in the waist band of my leggings. our chipotle also arrived so everyone was getting their order and sitting around the living room.
elton and i had a little diabolical plan so he'd be able to stay over without the boys knowing. my room is right by the door to the hallway so hes just gonna pretend to leave but go into my room instead. it was pretty simple, to be honest, but it would worked.

it's 3am now and everyone is basically gone. tara and jake went to bed, corey and colby are on the couch watching youtube videos and sam and kat went to bed. everyone else left. i was doing the dishes before i went to bed with elton.
"do you need any help?" colby asked from the couch, not even looking at me.
"nope, i got it." i told him. "thanks anyways." i laughed.
"we should take a trip to this abandoned water park." corey suggest. i had been lightly paying attention to the video they were watching. it was an abandoned water park in arizona.
"that would be dope as shit... like just a giant road trip with everyone." colby nodded.
"alright, i'm going to bed. goodnight boys, love you." i said.
"love you." they responded in unison.
i got into my room, shutting and locking the door behind me. as i turned, i was basically attacked by elton, making me yelp.
"shhh." he whispered, placing a kiss on my lips.
"you okay ashton?" i heard colby ask... i must've yelled pretty loud if he was able to hear it.
"yeah... uh i stubbed my toe on the door." i responded.
"of course you did." he laughed. "night ash."
"night colby."
"back to where we were." elton said, pulling me in to another kiss.
