The boys stared at Luke's computer screen in shock for a few silent minutes before one of them dared to break the silence that filled after the horrifying scene they had just watched.

Calum was the one to break the silence, worry, and confusion evident in his voice, "What do we do now?" He asked his friends and bandmates.

At his words, they all snapped out of their shock, Luke turned to him, a fire in his eyes that almost scared Calum, Luke rarely got angry. The last time Calum saw him even somewhat close to being this angry was when they found out Alyssa was being bullied. "We protect her like we always do." Luke responded in a scarily calm voice that didn't fit the angered fire in his eyes at all, his voice made Calum shudder.

Calum nodded, "Of course but how do we do that? We can't just fly there." Calum replied hesitantly, his concern for Alyssa outweighing his fear of an angry Luke with ease.

"Yes we can." Ashton retorted, pulling Luke's laptop onto his lap and typing away at a fast pace Calum had never seen before.

"Cal," Michael spoke, Calum's eyes snapped to Michael curiously, "Do you want to go or would you rather stay here?"

At the question, Luke and Ashton turned their attention to Calum. All their eyes on him made him nervous however he didn't hesitate to respond, he didn't need to think about his answer, he knew it before Michael even asked the question. "Of course I'm going. She's our sister."

Michael nodded as Luke and Ashton turned their attention back to Luke's laptop as they looked for the earliest plane tickets they could get, "Good." Michael said before he stood up.

Michael began to walk away, he only turned back when he got close to the room Michael and Calum were sharing, "Well are you coming? We need to pack."

Calum stood up, rushing after his bandmate, anxious to pack his things, half of which were already packed, they were on tour after all. Speaking of which, Calum still had some questions about this plan. Of course, he wanted to go help Alyssa, more than anything, however, they were on tour. It wasn't going to be good, that was for sure.

But he, as well as the rest of his bandmates, would do anything for Luke's sweet little sister who had become their sister as well.

I blew a strand of my blonde hair out of my face as I stirred the spaghetti I was cooking, it was almost done, so after I turned the heat to low, I stepped away from the stove and went over to the cupboard where I grabbed a plate for mom and a thin paper plate for myself, I then went to a drawer and got out forks, grabbed some napkins and went back to the stove where I glanced at the spaghetti once more before turning off the heat and went to grab the garlic bread from the oven.

Once I got the garlic bread out I started placing the food on the plates, three big scoops of spaghetti, and two pieces of garlic bread on mom's plate, one scoop of spaghetti and one piece of garlic bread on my plate. Once I was done I brought her plate into the living room where she was waiting impatiently as she watched tv.

I walked back to the kitchen without a thank you from my mother and put away the leftovers before grabbing my plate and going up to my room. Once I was done eating I would have to go back downstairs and clean up the kitchen as well as the living room, my mother would either be in her room already or observing me from her comfortable spot on the couch with her cold judgmental eyes never leaving me.

Sure enough, when I went downstairs with my empty plate and dirty fork, my mom's dishes were waiting for me to clean in the sink, thrown carelessly as usual, and my mother was sitting on the couch, her lips pursed as she paused her show to look at me. I ignored her gaze with a sigh although it had me on edge, I put my plate in the trash before going over to the sink where I began to wash the dishes, my mother's cruel eyes never leaving me.

After over an hour of cleaning, I made my way up to my room, my mother already in hers. Once I got to my room, I collapsed onto the bed with a sigh of relief. I was still dressed in normal clothes that were not comfortable to be sleeping in however I simply didn't care. I left my eyes closed for a moment, enjoying the peace I rarely had before I opened them and grabbed my phone from my bedside table where I had left it. I turned it on to find one simple text from Luke. I stared at in shock, despite the words being simple, I felt as if it were the most complicated thing I had ever read. Then again, that was exactly what this situation was. Complicated.

Luke
We're on our way

I let out a deep breath as I slowly took in his words. They were on their way. They were coming here. They were going to find out. They would know.

I wasn't sure what to feel, I wasn't sure what this would be, good or bad. Perhaps it would be both. I doubted I would know until it was too late however I felt as it was the worst thing that could happen at that moment.

Without thinking clearly, I hit the call button on Luke's contact, my eyes widened as I pressed the phone to my ear, tapping my empty hand against my pants as I waited for him to answer, honestly, I wasn't sure if I wanted him to answer or not.

I debated whether or not I should hang up and after a moment of the same ringing playing, I began to pull the phone away from my ear until, "Hello?" Luke's voice called through the phone, my eyes widened, my hands slipped from the phone, barely catching it before it fell. "Alyssa? Are you alright?"

In the background, I heard the boys' voices asking if it was me and what was going on however I couldn't focus on that, regret filled me as I realized I had no idea what to say. I wished I could go back in time and hang up or better yet, never hit call.

Well, I guess it's now or never.
