London's Quite Big

Primrose's POV:

"Girl are you sure you're okay on your own?" Angel asks, leaning his head out the car window.

I shut the car door with my bum and pull up the handle to my suitcase. Bending down, I levelled my eyes with his. "Angel, I'll be fine." I smiled, pulling him in for a hug. "You know where everything is. Please don't burn down my barn while I'm gone." I tease, taking a few steps back.

"I'll try." He grins. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too. Love you." I hum, before turning round and walking into the train station. My suitcase glided along the smooth flooring, as I fumbled in my jacket pocket for my ticket. Showing it to the worker, I received a quick nod and proceeded to my platform.

"6:30. Right on time." I say to myself, as I look up at the board of train line times.

Barnstable to London. Arriving 6:32am.

A few short moments later, the train pulled into the station, and a sudden jolt of fear absorbed my body. I'm about to do this. This is what I'm about to do. What I'm about to do is this. I, Primrose, am boarding a train to go and stay with Harry Styles, for a week. Am I making a huge mistake? Is this too fast? Too sudden? Harry and I haven't even slept together, and I'm already staying at his for an entire week! I can't do this... I have to go home. Maybe Angel's still in the car park. I need to go-

"On or off, miss?" The train conductor asked in a deep, husky voice.

"Uhh... Umm... I- err..." I stutter, flicking my eyes between the train and the car park.

"Get on the train!" A voice yells from a distant car. Darting my head round, I see Angel hanging out the same car window. "You can do this! Get on the train!" He yelled again. And with that, I dragged my suitcase onto the train.
Sitting in the nearest seat I could find, I prepared myself for the next 5 hours of trees, strangers, and that constant hum of the train against the tracks.

This was strange - I haven't been inland for so long. I forgot how beautiful all the forests and sheep and hills were. I'd been on the train for around two hours, and somehow I was enjoying myself. My music quietly filled the silence through my headphones, as I gazed out the foggy window at the world around me. It was so open, so bare. Polar opposite to what I was going to have in London.

Well, I assume so anyway. I've never been to London. I grew up in a small town, then moved straight to the coast at 18. I never saw the appeal in going to big, crowded, muggy cities; only to get pick pocketed or stuck in traffic. Nervous. That's how I feel. Nervous. God why is my mind so muddled up today! I can barely think straight.

Slouching back into my chair, I felt the small vibrations of my phone in my pocket. Upon pulling it out, my eyes were met with a cheeky text from Angel.

You'd better still be on that train. And you better not get back on it until you sleep with that sexy, green eyed beauty ;).

He's such an ass! I thought to myself as a small smile creeped across my face.

I like the pace I'm taking things with Harry. It's slow, which must make a change from the busy, hectic life he lives. I hope he likes the speed we are moving, I'm just assuming he does. But... will I look desperate to ask him? No, no I'm sure I won't. I'll ask him when I get to London. And if he gets freaked out, I'll book a room in a HolidayInn and then get a train home the next day.
