Meanwhile, afternoon on the plane, The sound of the pilot's voice blares over the speaker.

"Hello passengers, we would like to alert you that we will be touching down in 30 minutes. Thank you for your patience!" Evan stares forward in a catatonic state, eyes red and puffy. Paul has been snoring for half the flight, and the kids in the row behind him haven't gotten any better from the start. Paul's wife seems a little bit quieter than before but still seems full of suspiciously positive energy. The headphones haven't been doing that much in noise canceling as the onboard plane sounds still blast into Evan's ears. Slowly, Paul starts to lean his body on Evan's side, taking whatever precious space Evan had before. The turbulence bumps Paul's body back and forth on the seat. Evan lets out a huge sigh.

"We're almost there! We're almost there!" Amanda sings out loud.

After this hellish experience, the plane starts to descend until it finally touches down. The airport doors open as people from the plane pour into the airport. Evan slowly drags himself through the airport, holding his luggage and barely keeping his cap on his head. This airport is similarly packed, with people bustling left and right like a stampede of elephants. Evan stares like a zombie as he moves from place to place, a combination of stress and jet lag filling his mind. He takes a deep breath and goes outside to search for his coach driver holding up the camp's name (Yucatán). He peers around but his coach is nowhere to be found. He gains the courage to ask people passing:

"Err... Excuse me. Camp Yucatán? Camp Yucatán anyone? Has anyone seen a person holding up a sign saying Camp Yucatán?"

Finally, the tourist realization comes in, and he pulls out his small Spanish translation book. He fumbles through the pages quickly.

After he looks around for a bit, he faces a passing man and tries his Spanish

<"Excuse me? Do you know where I can find... Tramp Yucatán?">

The man he tries to ask just carries on walking, looking like he is in a hurry. Evan turns to ask an elderly lady. <"A person scolding a sign to tramp Yucatán. Anyone?"> The old lady looks at him very strangely and decides to head in the other direction thinking he is a crazy person. Evan is confused but tries one last time to a mother of 2 this time.

<"Will you please help me find a tramp site?".> The lady also looks at him strangely and takes her children away from Evan's area. Quickly Evan scans through and buries his face within his translation book again to try and read back what he just said. After realizing this, he pulls back his book and enlarges his eyes. "Ohh..."

20 seconds later, Evan has put away his book and is squeezing through the crowd. During this time, he is on his mobile phone texting his mother. On the screen the conversation between Evan and Carey shows Evan saying "Landed X" and another from Carey saying "Brilliant! How was your flight X?".

As Evan is weaving through the crowd he starts to reply saying "Long! Just finding the coach company now". After a few seconds, he attempts to send off the message in reply to his mother but is greeted by a shove from another man passing by making him press a suggested alternative word from "now" to "cow". Being already exhausted from no sleep, a small deal like this can make a boy cranky in seconds. Quickly seeing his error in the message, he sends a grammar correction message as fast as possible before his mum pokes fun at him. Focusing back on finding the coach once again, he lets out a burst of air looking around as if to say that this is going to be a tough find.

Luckily, he looks straight ahead and finds an enthusiastic coach driver holding up a sign saying multiple places that he will be stopping at to drop people off. Evan reads down the list from a distance and spots Camp Yucatán at the very end.

"Oh, thank god, finally," Evan sighs with relief.

The driver is dressed in a red collared t-shirt, vest, baggy khaki pants, and heavy-duty boots. His face is lightly dusted by sand as the wind gently blows puffs of sand everywhere. Evan squints to see a worn-out nameplate pinned on his vest reading "MARCO". He is talking to a couple with a wide grin and gestures for the two to enter the coach as he lifts the luggage into storage.

After the couple disappears in the carriage, Evan approaches Marco. The driver's eyes widen, seeing the young man carrying a large load of baggage.

"Phew! Hi there!" Evan greeted.

Evan plops down all the suitcases that he was carrying. His muscles ache once again as he groans.

"Whoa, my man. Are you sure you didn't forget to pack the kitchen sink with you too?" Marco quips. Evan lets out a little smirk.

"Yeah aha...I know. Most of it is mainly thanks to my mother being overly protective." Muttered Evan. Marco also smirks after hearing that.

"Haha. I hear that. But you've always gotta listen to your mother, right? Heh heh. And your name is, sir?" Marco asked.

"Evan. Evan Hughes." Replied Evan. Marco holds up his clipboard in his hand with the list of people he is expecting to board his coach. He starts searching for Evan's name on the list starting from the top.

"Evan... Evan... Evan... Ah, interesting! You're going to be going to Camp Yucatán huh? Seems you're the only one arriving there today. It's my very last stop of the day. Just head on outside to the coach behind me and we can get going. Meaning you're the last one we're expecting."

Evan quickly stretches his hands out before picking up his bags once again.

"Great! I'm all set and ready!" He grins. Evan hears a snap and a thump as one of his suitcases snaps at the hinges and spills across the floor. Evan's smile lasts for another second before his shoulders slump.

"Long day?" Marco asks.

"Yeah..." Evan replies, putting the suitcase handle in his pocket. Marco puts his clipboard under his arm and goes to pick up Evan's suitcase with the broken handle off the floor.

"Here. Let me get that one for you, my man." Marco reaches out his hands. Evan uses both his hands to carry the bag with the still working handle on it.

"Yes, please... Thank you!" Evan gives Marco a grateful look. Eventually, Evan disappears into the coach. Marco smiles gently as he continues to load up the carriage, and prepares to greet the next person on board. Inside, Evan stumbles across the aisle to find a seat to sit in, leaning on the dusty green seats to walk forward. Finally, he finds a seat to sit down on and collapses onto it. Suddenly, all the exhaustion from the trip hits Evan at once, and he slowly drifts to sleep, to continue the next chapter of his journey.
