"Yo, y'all don't gotta go home but y'all gotta get the hell up outta here." Chris shouted standing on top of the table that was in the middle of the dining room.

"Dawg, what you mean? Party over?" One of Chris's friends questioned as he got off the table. It was about 11 at night and Chris and his friends had decided to throw a party since you weren't home.

"Hell, yeah party over. My girl on her way home and if she get here and see all y'all niggas in our crib, it's gon' be my ass." Chris explained trying to usher everyone out his house.

"Aw, shit. I'mma help you clean up-"

"Nah, I got it just get these motherfuckers out my crib." His didn't respond instead he just nodded and tried to get the many hundred people out the house as fast as possible.

The place started getting empty and starting to quiet down as people started to leave. Chris was quickly cleaning up the kitchen from the all the liquor bottles, weed, cups, etc that was scattered everywhere.

He made his way to the living room only to be met with an old fling which made him grew more anxious and frustrated.

"The fuck is you doing here? Didn't I say everybody need to get the hell out." Chris said his voice getting louder. The girl, who's name he forgot even though he used to sleep her, rolled her eyes and continued looking around.

"I can't find my phone. I called it through my friends while we were leaving and got nothing." She continued looking through the couches and Chris through his head back groaning.

He pulled his phone out his pocket and sighed.

"Bro, hurry up cause if my girl get here and she sees you here...you gotta hide now what's your number?" He typed in her number after she told him and called it. They didn't hear a ringing anywhere and the phone went to voicemail.

"Where the fuck is my phone."

"Aight, listen I'mma call it again but this time-" Chris got cut off by the sound of house keys unlocking the door.

"Shit, dawg. Get behind the couch." Chris pushed her over to the couch and making her duck behind it in the living room. He looked around the room and ran a hand over his face as he took a seat on the back of the couch trying to act as normal as possible.

You walked through the door and rolled your eyes playfully smelling the smell of weed linger in the house. You set your bag down by the door and took off your sneakers.

"This nigga stay getting high." You shook your head and chuckled softly walking near the living room. You jumped at the sight of Chris sitting awkwardly on the couch.

"You scared me and why are you sitting right there with the tv off?"

"I heard you come in and yeah. But what's up baby I missed you so much." Chris smiled goofingly at you and hugged you spinning you around to now you were standing with your back facing the couch.

"It's only been a week. You lucky I didn't spend the whole two weeks in Miami." You teased resting your hand on his bicep. He laughed nervously.

"Yeah, so lucky." He smiled widely. You noticed his eyes kept looking at something behind you. You furrowed your eyebrows and tried to turn around only for him to stop you.

"Baby, I-I thought you were staying in Miami for the two weeks. What happened?"

"I thought so too but we ended up finishing the entire photoshoot in a week."

He hummed in response and his eyes starting darting at something behind you again.

"What do you keep looking at behind me-" You went to turn around and he stopped you again.

"Nothing, it's nothing."

"Bro, why are you acting weird?" He was about to respond but got cut off by a sneeze coming from behind you. You heard Chris mumble a curse word unfer his breath.

"Who is here, Christopher?" You pushed him away gently and walked around to the other side of the couch. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"What the hell is she doing here, Maurice?" You never met the girl but of course you heard of her. She used to proudly post on social media on how she was messing with him all over the gram.

"See what had happened was-"

"I was just looking for my phone but it seems as though I won't be able to find it now. Look if you find it Chris call me." He didn't respond cause you were right there and if he said yeah, you would've went off.

The girl left and Chris rubbed the back of his neck nervously as you and him held eye contact.

"Baby, I love you so much." He chuckled nervously and you glared at him shaking your head and taking a seat on the couch.

"Why was she here, Chris?"

He sighed and ran a hand over his face, "It wasn't like that if that's what you're thinking. Me and a couple of other niggas thought we should throw a little kickback of about 30 people. Just to smoke and chill and next thing you know 30 people turn into 100 turn into about 350."

"So why'd you lie when I called you earlier and you said you was with your mom and Royalty. I was excited as hell to see her when I came home." You smiled slightly and he chuckled.

"Cause you don't like when I got all these people up in here when you not here plus I wasn't expecting you back today." He said in a duh tone and you rolled your eyes.

"You right I don't and that's the whole point of a surprise, stupid." You rolled your eyes playfully and stood up grabbing your bag off the floor and ended to the stairs.

"Oh, that's what you was talking about earlier?" He followed behind you and you stopped before he could pass the second step.

"Aht aht, what you doing?"

"We got a whole week to catch up."

"Yeah and we could do that after you clean this house up, buddy."
