The wait of Princess Elizabeth's recovery seemed to be an eternity. The poor girl suffered a great deal of pain from the sickness and all of her loved ones were beginning to loose hope. Lady Moore walked into the princess' bedchambers with a bowl of cool water and towels to cool the girl's forehead. The woman stared at the girl, who laid in bed asleep, with pity and set next to her. She placed her hand on the girl's forehead and a smile graced her face. Alice rushed out of the bedchambers and called for her husband and Lady Eleanor. Thomas ran over to his wife and said to her, "What's the matter, Alice?" Alice replied, "Elizabeth's fever has broken and she has been spared." Thomas sighed in relief and said a prayer. He rushed to his goddaughter's bedchambers where he found Elizabeth now sitting up in the bed. Thomas made his way to the teenager and knelt to the ground, kissing the girl's knuckles. He said, "You know what you have done, dear girl? You have risen from the dead." Elizabeth only gave her godfather an small, exhausted smile. Her eyes moved to the other side of the bedchambers to see her staff and godmother and god-siblings sighing in relief.
After being with Elizabeth, Thomas decided to write a letter to the girl's father immediately to inform him of the King's daughter's recovery. He then had the letter sent to his dear friend as soon as possible. With Henry, Henry sat at his desk as he read the letter from Thomas, smiling in relief. He slightly tensed up when he felt someone's arms wrap around him but relaxed when he realized it was Anne.
Your Most Gracious Majesty,
I have written to you in great happiness and relief to tell you that Princess Elizabeth has recovered and awaken from the Sweat. I have also received numerous letters from the Prince James of France who is concerned about Princess Elizabeth's health. He asks for Your Majesty's permission to come to court to visit the Princess Elizabeth. I do hope that you will allow him to do so for it will lift the Princess' spirits to be in the company of the French Prince.
Your Most Humble and Loving Servant and dear friend,
Sir Thomas Moore.

In France, Prince James sat in the chapel as he listened to the choir and prayed for Elizabeth's recovery. He was unaware that his lover had recovered. The French prince heard the sound of footsteps and turned to see his sister, Charlotte, entering the chapel. Charlotte did the sign of the cross and took a seat next to her brother. She whispered, "Have you heard anything about Elizabeth, James?" James shaked his head and whispered, "No, dear sister. I worry for her, Charlotte. She was very sickly as a child. It will be a miracle if she survived the Sweat at all." Charlotte whispered, a smile gracing her features, "Well, you will be pleased to hear that Elizabeth has survived the Sweat. It seems that all those letters to the Pope asking for prayers and prayer alone have saved our dear Elizabeth." James grinned at his sister, placing a kiss on forehead, and rushed to tell his parents. He found his parents in the middle of a conversation with their Cardinal and ran over to them. Francis stared at his son with confusion and said to him, "My son, why are you in such a hurry?" James replied, "Mother, Father. I have received word that Elizabeth has survived the Sweat." Claude sighed in relief and said, "Such wonderful news. *She turned to her husband* We must go to England and congratulate the Princess on her recovery. Shall we, Francis?" Francis replied, confused, "We shall, my beloved Queen. I wasn't notified that the Tudor Rose has survived." James said, "Charlotte told me that one of her spies in England has returned and told her about Elizabeth's recovery. She sent him to be a servant of Elizabeth to keep an eye on her."Francis and Claude nodded in understanding, they knew how much their eldest daughter cared for the English princess. They also knew that if anything were to happen to the English princess, their children would do anything it took to help the princess. Francis took a deep breath and said to his eldest son, with a smile, "Well, we must prepare for our leave to England. I will write a letter to my King brother and tell him of our arrival. That is, once everything is settled here and in England." James smiled brightly at his parents, he was finally able to see his lover after years of being apart. He stood by his mother as his father turned to announce to the court. Francis said, "I have some splendid news. It appears that the Princess Elizabeth of Wales, my future daughter-in-law, has recovered from the Sweat and is on the progress of clean health. My loving family and I will go to England in due time to congratulate the Princess of Wales on her recovery." The courtiers of the French court all had relieved smiles on their faces and applauded. Most of the courtiers were signing the sign of the cross while others were saying a small prayer in thanks to God. It seems that Elizabeth has made a huge impact on the kingdom of France due to her relationship with James.
