"All you have to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms nine and ten!", your mother immediately calls out when Rose helped your father at pushing the trolley and Hugo joins them, together the three of them run hard in the barrier then disappear.
Staring at the solid brick wall, feeling your mother's hand pushing gently on your back, you looked up at her asking, "When is my time to go at Hogwarts, Mum?"
"Two years after, Y/N, you'll follow your sister there", she said, smiling gently at you, really loving how you looked just like her. "And for sure, you would be a Gryffindor as well"
Looking back at the barrier with an uncertain look, you hold into her hand and at her count, did you run together towards the wall. At an instinct, you closed your eyes anticipating an impact but it never happened. Instead, you heard a whistle, a chirping, a meowing and the familiar magical rush as you opened your eyes in front of the covered in thick white steam pouring from it, the Hogwarts Express.
At the signboard above the heads of wizards and witches in robes mostly trying to work out how to say good-bye to their beloved progeny, there is a bold inscription of Platform 9 3/4.
Your Dad stood a few metres ahead, holding up one of your cousins, Lily Potter. Before them is her whole family, Harry, Ginny and your closest cousin, Albus glaring a little in annoyance at his brother, James. Upon seeing you, your cousin left his brother, thankful to have another someone to talk to.
But this time you have to separate with him for the first time. Secretly you had to admit, you were jealous of him and Rose who would get to go on without you to Hogwarts first.
As a habit to treating you like his own sister, Albus patted your head, noticing the sad glint in your eyes, "Don't worry.. the two years will go in a blink and surely then, you'll follow us like nothing had changed between all of us"
"But you will be third year that time and I am just gonna be a first year", you muttered, glancing away from him and looked at the other families. "You'll find many friends and I will have no one"
Particularly this family who was all looking foreign and different from the usual faces you normally see in Wizarding Britain. No one of them had light hair. All jet black hair. Their child who is too tall for a first year were taking a short glances at the Chosen one.
Watching him over your place near your Uncle Harry, he caught your eyes twinkling at him in amazement. He remembered too late he was doing it many times, and he was glad for his quite long hair hiding his eyes, which hid the flush in his cheeks at being caught staring to Harry Potter.
The whistle of the train blew for a long second, signalling the remaining short time you have with Albus who takes you in a hug and whispered, "I'll write to you as well, Y/N"
When your parents had let go of Rose, she rushed forward into your already open arms, already sniffing to leave her closest sibling, "Y/N, always take care of Hugo for me, okay? Don't be an additional headache to Mum when she already had two for Dad"
"Write to me for everyday, Rosie. Don't forget to tell me all about it", you muttered against her ginger hair, squeezing her in your arms and pulled away, forcing a smile. "Don't exchange me for other girls as your bestfriend, okay, sis?"
Rose let out a smile, the big one, the one that means a lot to you for it was basically a promise. "No one can replace my younger sister and you'll see that I will keep it until we came together at School"
