Outside of Jake's cabin

Jake had came home earlier than he had originally planned, due to the impending snow storm. He figured it was no big deal considering he could continue his work the next day. As he approached the door he was not prepared for the image he was about to see.

Jake opens the door and in front of him he sees Skye and Everest fighting, biting and clawing at each other while Chase, who appears to be very distressed tries to find a way to break them up. They never noticed him come in.

"YO, what in the world is going on in here!?" Jake yells, automatically getting everyone's attention.

Jake could tell that the two girls had been fighting for quite a while due to the scrapes, cuts and bruises present on their bodies. It was honestly scary. The girls looked as though they should've been in excruciating pain but the anger they were filled with numbed all of it.

"Well?!" Jake says impatiently.

Chase had his head down even though he wasn't in the fight. Skye and Everest however, weren't gonna feel guilty just yet. They still had aggression to let out.

"Jake, Skye started all of this" Everest starts as the two move away from each other. "Chase and I were just enjoying our afternoon and evening and she came over and brought drama with her."

Skye growled at her.

"So that's the story you're gonna tell? The story that makes it look like I'm some crazy pup?" Skye says with disgust.

Everest nods her head with a bitter look.

"I see no other story to tell" the Husky says simply.

Skye was steamed at the nonchalant nature of the Husky's reply.

"Well, how about how your new boyfriend cried his way to your home, left his family over something dumb, and backstabbed his own friend for a little dirty Husky" Skye says with hate clearly noticeable in her tone.

Everest was tired of the rude way Skye was speaking to her in her own owner's house. The two slowly move closer to each other, ready to get back into a brawl at any moment.

"Cut it out you two!" Jake says with authority as he stands between the two pups. He looks over to the silent Shepherd looking off into space. "Chase, I know you can tell me what happened." Jake says.

Chase remains silent. He seems as though he's in deep thought or just filled with an emotion that kept him from letting it out. Everest notices his silence and turns her attention to him.

"Chase, sweetie what's wrong" Everest says almost on impulse as if she'd been with him for years. She walks over to the motionless pup.

Skye had concern as well but she couldn't help but think that Everest used that nickname for Chase just to get her mad. She couldn't let that slide. Pettiness could be her specialty. She walked over to Chase.

"Yeah Chasy, what's wrong" Skye says sweetly as she nuzzles into him.

Everest had to use all of her will power not to throw Skye across the room. She couldn't believe the Cockapoo was actually doing this right in front of her with no shame. She was flirting with HER boyfriend in front of HER at HER place.

"Skye, get away from him" Everest says, trying to not get completely furious.

Skye gives her an annoyed look.

"Ok, Husky let's get something straight" Skye starts."Chase was my friend before he ever even knew you existed. So, I don't care how close you get to Chase, you aren't gonna keep me from being around him" The cockapoo finishes.

Everest could not believe what she was hearing. Skye was really making it seem like Everest was the crazy girlfriend trying to keep Chase for herself.

"Skye let me get something straight for you. You had more time then I ever had to get together with Chase and what did you do? You sat and waited, and then, on top of that, you made him feel the need to runaway and he comes here and now we're dating and now somehow I'M the bad guy?" The Husky says.

Skye did not need to justify her thoughts to the Husky.

"You know what, Everest? You're right, I should've taken the opportunities when they were there" Skye says as she gets close to the Shepherd.

Everest looks at her suspiciously.

"Skye..." The Husky says.

Skye continues.

"So I'm not gonna let another opportunity pass me. Starting now" and with that, Skye walked up to the blank faced Shepherd and placed a big kiss right on his lips. Strangely enough though, it didn't break Chase from his trance.

This sent Everest over the edge. She tackled the cockapoo and clawed at her as hard as she could, scraping her up as much as she could.

Skye screamed in agony and struggled to get the steaming Husky off of her.

Jake wanted more then anything to be able to break them up be he knew as well as Chase that nothing was as dangerous as a conflict between two angry female pups. Who knew how this could turn out?

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHO DOES THAT?! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY NO PUP WOULD EVER WANT TO BE WITH A TINY LITTLE BRAT LIKE YOU!" Everest yells to the Cockapoo trapped under her weight.

This sets something off in the cockapoo. Suddenly she was just as mad as the Husky. They were evenly matched and Skye pushed her off of her body with little effort. The two were out for blood.

In the Snowing Mountains

The Cabin had seemed so much closer than it actually was. What had appeared to be mere inches away, felt more like a mile long trip on foot in a blizzard storm. But it didn't matter now, the struggling pups had reached their destination.

"L-l-looks like they left the doggy door open" Rocky says as they waddle to the door.

"That's g-g-good for us" Marshall says as they head for the door.

One by one the pups enter the building and none of them were mentally prepared for what was in front of them. In front of them, it looked like a slaughter house with how much blood was all over the ground. That alone shocked the pups but not as much as the main scene in front of them. In the middle of the room were two bleeding, scar-covered pups. They both had evil intentions in their eyes. It was clear this was no minor disagreement. They both had a "last pup standing" mentality at the moment.

Skye was currently on top and she looked as though she was trying to end the fight. That's when the pups notice Skye aiming her teeth at the Husky's neck. Marshall leaps out towards them.

"EVEREST!"
