Hey guys! The inspiration for this story? Well, I was looking through pinterest at some fanart. It was really good, and one I came across was a human Perry. In the picture was Doofenshmirtz, and he was apologizing and saying it would take a week to turn him back into a platypus. My brain immediately went, "Wait what! This is amazing! I want to know more! Whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words was lying! I want to read a fanfic about this!" So, I've decided to write a fanfic about it. I didn't do much searching, so I don't know if a humanized Perry is already a story, but here's my story!

Perry's eyes darted between Phineas and the backyard gate. The triangle headed boy was distracted with Ferb, talking about their latest project. Perry's watch began to buzz. He bit his beak. The opening to his base was just by the backyard gate. All he had to do was walk across the grass and get their without anyone seeing. Just your normal average platypus. They don't do much.

Treading along the soft grass, Perry was as silent as possible. He couldn't risk drawing attention to himself. In the back of his mind, he played sneaky music. He knew it was childish, but it just helped him think better. And no one knew because no one else could hear what was going on in his mind. Win win. Doo be doo be doo ba, doo be do be do ba.

Perry could hear the soft pitter patter of his feet on the grass. Just a little farther to walk, and he could easily make it to OWCA.

Perry was just about to slip on his hat when he felt to hands scoop him up. "There you are Perry!" Phineas smiled, holding the platypus in his arms. Perry looked cross eyed and let out a purr. Phineas stroked his head. "Today, Ferb and I are going to build another machine to try to translate what you say! I know it didn't work out the first time, but we've made a few modifications. It's sure to translate platypus this time!" the boy said.

Perry smiled on the inside. He loved his boys more than anything else in the world. The truth was, the boys had made the animal translator machine perfectly the first time. Perry had just chosen to make a random noise with no meaning, just to be safe. He had one goal: protect his boys. Ferb scratched Perry under the chin, and the platypus nuzzled him. Phineas squeezed him tighter.

"What are you two doing!" Candace snapped, stepping out into the backyard. Perry mentally rolled his eyes. Ah, yes, Candace. Perry had tried to make friends with her when they first adopted him. He nuzzled up to her, curled up at the foot of her bed. But every time she would shoving him away, complaining to Phineas and Ferb about how gross he was. Perry just ignored her and went on. But Candace wasn't all that bad. Plus, Perry could only imagine the irony when they switched bodies.

"We're building an animal translator," Phineas said, smiling. Perry let out a purr in confirmation.

Candace put her hands on her hips. "Didn't you already do that?" she wondered.

"Yeah, but this time, it'll translate platypus too!" Phineas held Perry up to her and Perry clicked his beak.

"Ew, get that thing away from me! When I tell mom what you're doing, you are so busted!" she said, before stomping off. Phineas and Ferb exchanged a look, and Ferb just shrugged.

Phineas set Perry down and continued on with his project. While they were distracted, Perry headed for the trap door. He stopped before going in. Taking one last look at the boys, Perry smiled. His life really was perfect. And nothing could ever change that. They were his motivation for stopping Doofenshmirtz.

Perry slipped on his hat, replacing his smile with determination, and jumping inside the tube. He quickly slid down the windy pipe and landed in his orange cushioned chair. He sat up straight and watched for Monogram to appear on the screen.
