5. Striking a Deal

                                    

                                          
For the next few days, Skrael keeps coming to her room and leaving Y/n gifts. She doesn't want gifts. she wants to go home, she's said it a thousand times, but no matter what he always says that home is with him now. Y/n is scared of what her fate would be if she didn't declare love for him soon. Skrael can't keep her forever... Right?
                          
It's been about four days since Skrael kidnapped Y/n. Today she decided to talk to Skrael about this situation, hopefully, he will actually listen to her instead of ignoring her.
                          
Just as she was about to go to Skrael's room, she got a knock on her door. Y/n has figured out the pattern to know that this is another one of his gifts. She runs to see him before he teleports away from her. Y/n opens the door and utters his name. 
                          
Skrael looked behind him to see Y/n with a very serious look on her face. "Can we talk?" She asked. Skrael was taken aback for a moment before he nodded and walked into her room. Closing the door behind him, he saw that her serious demeanor hasn't diminished. All she did was point at the bed. He sat down as Y/n was pacing. Skrael decided to stay silent as she kept pacing until she calmed down. 
                          
Y/n honestly was pacing because she didn't know how to talk about this. That day at school when he took her was the day that she started being afraid of Skrael. However, she pulled herself together before talking.
                          
"Skrael, I am not interested in a romantic relationship with you... yet," this may not be the best plan but it will buy time if Y/n plays her cards right, "But I am willing to accept rekindling our friendship again. If that is ok, Skrael?" This was it! Either he will accept her friendship for now and not kill her or he'll get mad and put ice through her heart. 
                          
Skrael didn't know what to do. For the first time in centuries, he didn't know what to do. It was either lose her love or actually take the time to know her by her standards and let her decide when to become a couple (or whatever humans called romantic relationships these days). It was a pretty obvious answer on his part;
                          
"Yes, we will start as proper friends. But I will only agree if you guarantee that we will end up in a romantic relationship." Skrael replied. 
                          
Confusion lashed out on Y/n's face. "Yes" was the last thing she thought Skrael would say. His and her terms were simple. Basically be friends until she is comfortable enough to be in a romantic relationship with Skrael. It was perfect!
                          
"Deal." She held her hand out.
                          
Skrael shook it.
