Andrea's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar bed, my head hurting like hell, and struggling to remember what happened the previous night. I slowly started to remember wanting to drown my sorrows, and coming to Harry's house for a drink, talking about the plan, probably complaining about having to face Lucas, but then..all was like a huge void. I couldn't remember anything else. And why the hell was I in Harry's bed?! But he wasn't there, and I was fully clothed so.. "Oh, don't be stupid!" I said to myself. "He's not that kind of man. He's not like Lucas, that's for sure!"
I went downstairs in search of him.. And there he was, preparing breakfast, in a shirt and suit pants, an apron over them to keep any stains away, hair in place, looking his usual elegant self, at 7 in the morning! Did he wake up at 5? Did he even sleep?! We must have stayed up late drinking.. not that I remembered much. God, was I hungover!

  - Good morning!
  - 'Morning!
  - Head hurting much?
  - Like fuck!
  - Sit. I made you a cup of coffee.
  - Thank you! Sorry about last night.. I didn't want to intrude, but given I can't remember shit I probably wasn't able to get home safely..
  - Oh, not at all, you didn't intrude. But you did fall asleep so I thought better let you sleep upstairs. I took the couch..
  - Yeah..sorry about that too.
  - It's fine, seriously. I bet you have never been hungover before.
  - Is it that obvious?
  - You look completely taken aback. Especially by the "I can't remember anything" part..
  - I never drank before. Not like this anyway. And yeah, it's odd to have no memory of a few good hours. Anything in particular I should remember?
  - Oh, no. Nothing at all.
  - Mm..the coffee is delicious. Thanks.
  - Glad you think so. Want some bread and butter? Some cheese?

  - Don't mind if I do. Mh..you shouldn't have bothered, really. I could've helped. When did you wake up anyway?
  - Around 5.30 I suppose. Slept a little better than usual. I think I got a little tipsy too.
  - This isn't how I imagined my first hungover.
  - Is that a good or bad thing?
  - Good! Waking up to breakfast and coffee? Heaven! I imagined something far less glamorous.
  - Ha! Glad it was like this. At least I could keep an eye on you, keep you safe.
  - Harry.. you realise I'm an agent now? I'm going undercover. I've got this. Don't need protection.
  - I know, but..
  - No buts. I think now I just can't wait to get there. It's payback time baby!
  - Just..be careful.
  - I will.
  - We'll stand by.
  - Merlin will record everything I transmit through the glasses, that should be enough.
  - I mean if you need backup.
  - The point is not to need backup. With a little luck and a lot of charm I'll be a Dark Knight soon enough.

Harry's POV

I hated that I had to let her go so soon after having her so close to me, so easy to reach.. but I didn't have the guts to make a move when we were sober, and so she was never mine to lose. And yet the thought that she was going back to that Lucas boy, even if only for the sake of her cover, was maddening. I needed to do something, to keep busy while waiting for news from her, so that I wouldn't go crazy for good.
