"Nick, I am okay, seriously we have been on call since three am." Benni unlocked the plant shop, balancing her phone on her shoulder. After last night, Sapnap kept asking her if she was alright. It just ended up in Benni calling him to let him know that she was okay. Her Twitter kept buzzing with mixed reactions after she addressed the situation.
"I'm not ending the call," He muttered, rustling in bed. She knew he had been up all night playing Dream and George after the discord call. Benni had hoped he at least went to sleep during their call. "I'll be here until you leave work."
"Benni, it's good to see you!" Blas yelled from storage room. He walked out with gloves on with a big smile on his face. He realized she was on the phone and just waved at her. "I will ask you later then."
"How about this," Benni started. She went into the back room, placing her things on the table. "I am going to hang up and I will call you the moment I get off work."
"How about no?" Benni rolled her eyes, trying not to laugh. "Alright, but right after okay!" He faked seriousness. This time, Benni couldn't keep in her laughter. It felt like she was dealing with a child.
"And get some fucking sleep." This time Nick laughed at her. She was smiling like an idiot but heard him begin to cut his laughter. "Alright, bye, love you."
Benni left her phone on the table, leaving it behind as she made her way to the front of the shop. Blas made his way to her holding a certain look to his face. She hoped it wasn't one that meant she had to unload the truck outback.
"Was that a boy?" He wiggled his eyebrows. Benni blushed at his statement. He heard her conversation in the back room. Blas laughed, passing her the watering can. "I'm just pulling your leg."
Benni laughed awkwardly, grabbing the watering can. As she walked over to some of the ivy, she froze in her spot. The words she had told Nick finally hitting her.
"Fuck!" She yelled, making Blas jog out of the storage room. Benni turned around to look at her boss, her shocked expression being visible from miles away. "I told him I loved him!"
