YEAR 6:

THIRTY-SIX

Months had passed and word was still quiet about my pregnancy. I told Draco, who was shocked, disgusted and confused. He promised he wouldn't tell anyone, even his mother and father, before I did. The only other people to know were Fred, George, Ginny, Hermione, Snape, Moody, Dumbledore and McGonagall, and I assume Fred wrote to Mr and Mrs Weasley. I was beginning to show as the school year came to an end, but Moody was quick to get me large clothes for me to fit into. I sat in the common room with Terence and Jaz who were all over each other; they've been inseparable for months. Adrian, on the other hand, quickly found new friends in Penelope and her group of worthless wannabes and ignored us altogether. I sat with a piece of parchment on my lap and a quill in my hand. "Pandora." Draco smiled coming over to me as Terence and Jaz were in a world of their own with each other. "What are you doing?" He plonked down beside me.

I sighed, tapping the quill against the parchment, "I'm trying to write a letter to Lucius and Narcissa explaining everything."

"Have you told the father? What was his name again?"

"Ehm, I actually can't quite remember. I don't think he wants anything to do with me."

"I suppose all of those Durmstrang students stick together, it's hard to get one of them on their own."

I sat up straight and began writing, "How about this? Dear Lucius and Narcissa. It is with great sadness that I must tell you this through letter and not in person; I am pregnant, around five months at this stage. I am so sorry. The father is a Durmstrang student who expressed no interest in the upbringing of our child. I am so sorry to put this burden on you, but I am perfectly happy finding a place of my own and raising the baby myself. Please write soon, Pandora."

Draco shrugged, "It's sounds okay. But I think you're being ridiculous thinking that they won't help you."

I shrugged also, "Who knows?" I asked, stuffing the letter inside of an envelope and licking the seal shut. I leaned into Draco and hushed my voice, "With The Dark Lord returning, Lucius is going to be really busy and I can't expect your mother to give up everything to help me."

"They might surprise you."

"Draco, you know your parents much better than I do and we both know that there is no room for surprises when it comes to them." I got to my feet, "I'm going to head to the Owlery, wanna join?"

Draco shook his head while also getting to his feet, "I've to meet Crabbe and Goyle. Best of luck with it anyways. Just know that I am and will always be there for you."

"Aren't you adorable." I smiled, "I'll see you later, Draco." I turned to Jaz and Terence, "I'm going to send this letter, is there any point in asking if you'd like to join me?"

Jaz glanced up to me, "Yeah, we'll be here. See you later."

I shook my head with a giggle and left the common room. Even though it was Summer, I always made sure that I wore my robes to ensure that nothing could be seen. I was really starting to show, but I only had a month left of sneaking around Hogwarts, trying to hide myself. I took my time walking to the Owlery as the weather was beautiful, the flowers were blooming and the trees were so green. I eventually made it to the Owelry, the smell insulting my nostrils. I tried to be as quick as possible and find my owl and send this letter. I eventually found him perched on a window sill. I tied the letter around his leg and sent him flying into the distance toward Malfoy Manor. I watched as the bird flew out of sight, the squawking and squeaking of the birds that remained in the Owlery, blasting my ear drums. I turned to leave but noticed a figure in the doorway. I jumped at first but then recognized who it was, "Barty?" I asked.
