The next morning, Tyler went downstairs and made himself a cup of tea. He added sugar and ice, mixing it into a light brownish color. When he took a sip, he felt as if heaven struck him. It was a wonderful taste.

Just as he turned to head to the table, he saw his aunt sitting on his father's chair, reading the newspaper. He thought not to disturb her, but she knew he was there.

The woman looked into the eyes of the young boy, and saw right through him, fueling her hate towards him.

"I know your eyes." She told him. "It tells me exactly who you are."

Tyler looked at his aunt, confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Tyler, I've known you since you were 3 years old. I've come to know the truth about you."

"Auntie, I don't understand."

The woman sipped her coffee.

"You will, my dear. You will."

The boy turned away, quickly finishing his tea and going back upstairs to his room.

The woman's eyes turned black with envy and deceit. Her hatred for Tyler made her more eager to rid of him, and she was intent on doing it.

While Tyler's father was away, the aunt called her servant Helena, the seamstress of the home.

Helena was a ginger girl, with light skin and freckles. She was young and timid, but very obedient, who dared not to question her mistress's orders.

When she heard the aunt has summoned her, she stood before her, not moving an inch. The woman looked upon her, with a look of trust. She knew Helena would never disobey her.

"My dear Helena, you have always served me faithfully and well."

"Yes, milady."

"Good, because I have a task for you."

"Ask me what it is, and I will do it."

The woman stood up from her chair and went to the window, looking down upon Tyler, who was outside in the family garden, admiring the flowers.

She glanced at him with envious eyes, making her hate him even more.

"You've seen my beloved nephew, have you not?"

"Yes, milady. I remember when he was a just a little boy. He possesses the rare beauty of his mother."

The woman felt the anger flooding through her body. She hated hearing his own servant talking of Tyler's beauty, but she calmed herself, knowing what her plan was going to be.

"Yes, but that is not what I've called you for."

"What is it?" Helena asked.

The woman continued to look out the window.

"You are to take the boy deep into the forest, far away from here."

She picked up her knife and started sharpening it.

"You are to tie him to a tree, and cut out his heart."

When Helena heard this, she was terrified. She never thought she'd be told to kill someone, and it scared her more than anything in the world.

The aunt looked at the girl, and saw the fear in her eyes, and a bit of doubt.

"Helena, dear."

The girl looked at her mistress.

"Y-Yes, milady?"

"I've given you my task. Will you do it?"

The girl didn't want to take the life of Tyler, but she had no choice. She had to obey her mistress.

Helena nodded.

"Y-Yes, milady. It will be done."

The aunt smiled; evilly. She handed the knife to the girl.

"Make sure you return his heart to me."

The woman left the room, leaving the girl all alone, with the knife in her hand, trembling with fear.

She wasn't afraid of disobeying her mistress, but of taking the life of an innocent boy.

Helena had known Tyler and his family for years, and had loved the boy dearly. Being told to kill him shook her to the core, but she had to do it.

Later that day, Helena covered herself in a hood and went down to the garden where Tyler was.

She was doing her best not to look afraid, or guilty of her task. She stayed calm and proper, not changing her state of mind.

As Tyler admired the flowers, he turned his head and saw Helena approaching him. When she got closer, he smiled at her.

"Hello, Helena."

The girl didn't respond. She just looked at him. Tyler continued to smile at her.

"What are you doing here?"

Helena lowered her head, hiding the knife behind her back.

She took a deep breath.

"Tyler, you have to come with me."
