"Granny, hi! What are you doing in here?" I ask my grandmother as I walk into the kitchen.

I've been spending so much time with my family after meeting them for the first time 3 days ago. After Mako, Asami, and Korra found Wu stuffed in a suitcase on a train by some Kuvira worshippers, Mako decided Wu would be a lot safer staying at Asami's estate. Which is also where our family have been staying since their home was ruined in Ba Sing Se. I love all of my family, but I was ecstatic when I found out I had girl family members, too! Yeah they're older than me, but before Korra and Asami, I never knew what it was like to have family members who are girls. I was always use to just having my brothers around.

I know I waited for a long time to meet my family, but can you blame me? I went from having just my brothers, to not having them, to having not just my brothers back, but an entire family, and Korra returning. It was all so overwhelming, and I was scared. I thought they were going to hate me for not being around, of course I was wrong. The moment we met, I was bombarded with lots of hugs and kisses. I spent hours with everyone, I had a sleepover with all of my cousins, and the next day I helped my grandmother cook not just breakfast, but dinner as well. It was all so perfect. It's the life I've always dreamed of.

"I'm making the prince something to drink," she says sweetly. "His majesty has to stay hydrated."

I love my gran so much. The moment I met her, we already had a bond. She hugged me and told me how much I look like a perfect mix of my parents. I like when she talks about my parents. I didn't have long with them, but I appreciate how she tells me stories about NY father when he was a child, and the letters he wrote about my mother. She never met her, but she said she could tell she was a good woman just by how he wrote about her.

Gran is a big supporter of Wu and his family, and when I say big, I mean BIG. I'll never understand why because the Earth Queen was awful, and Wu just acts like a bratty ten year old, but that's her prerogative I guess. I just hope Wu isn't taking advantage of my grandmother's kindness, I'll punch him in the nose if he is. It's taken three years, but meeting my family is something I've dreamt of my whole life, and if I'm being truthful, it was worth the wait. My baby cousins are fascinated with my scars, and for the first time ever, I actually feel secure about them.

I give my gran a small hug and head to the gym where Mako and Wu are.

"You know, there's something about being kidnapped that makes a guy realize he needs to get his act together," Wu states.

"You're telling me," I kid.

"Yeah, I agree," says Mako. "Let's toughen you up."

Mako teaching Wu how to fight? This should be good! I'm glad he's doing this to better himself, and maybe it'll reach him some discipline, but come on. Wu and any kind of physical activity just seems weird. It'll definitely be something to get use to. He raises his hands in a defensive manner as Mako moves in closer. Mako throws the first punch and hits the prince in the chest, and when I say 'hit,' I use that term very loosely. Wu falls to the ground immediately, and I and Mako roll our eyes at his fallen figure.

"Aaah, I wasn't ready! Wu down!" He shouts pathetically.

"What's going on?" My grandma asks while rushing into the room with my cousin Tu. She looks at the Prince and her eyes widen. She rushed over to him and cradles him like a baby.

"Mako, how dare you injure the prince! Would his royal highness like a cherry-berry lemonade?"

"And maybe some of those sticky dumplings, too," Wu whines like a child.

"Look at you! You're so weak, 'Wu down' is your catchphrase," Mako snaps.

"Granny," I say. "It isn't Mako's fault that Wu is so weak- No offence."
