Chapter : '8'

                                    

                                          
She was shocked, she didn't expected Jin here even she didn't contacted him for more than a year. Jin smiled at her but his smile turned into a frown when he saw the baby bump.
"Yaaa, you're pregnant and you didn't even tell me? But I'm happy for you. By the way they are looking for you." - Jin told her while give a little hug & after pointing at the police officers. 
                          
"Are you Mrs. Lee Jihyo?" - one of the police officers asked her while entering her apartment along with Jin.
                          
"Wait? Mrs.? No. I'm not married.  I'm Ms. Jeon Jihyo." - she corrected the officer. 
                          
"So you're not Lee Jihoon's wife?"
                          
Suddenly Jihyo started shaking vigorously as she remembered her terrible memories about him.
Jin hold her & offer her some water. He patted her back to calm her. After she calmed down a little, she looked at the officers to continue them.
                          
"Are you okay now? If you want we can come later?"
"I'm fine. But why are you asking me about him?"
"Actually two days ago we caught him in a bar while selling drugs along with the bar owner. When we interrogate him, he told us that he has a wife & she is pregnant so he needs money & thats why he did that."
                          
"And you believed him? No doubt he is a good actor. " - Jihyo said, smirked bitterly. 
"He is my ex-boyfriend, yes & he is my child's father but he left me the day he got to know about my pregnancy. "
                          
"Why didn't you tell me Jihyo? I thought we are friends." - Jin said, feeling sad for her.
                          
"I'm sorry, he threatened me to not to tell anyone, I don't even mention this to my family. "
                          
"He threatened you? How?" - the officers asked.
                          
Then she told them everything from how she met him to how he left her. She was crying the whole time.
                          
The officers are shocked, they didn't even imagine that it could be this serious. But suddenly Jihyo started screaming out of the pain she felt on her lower abdomen. Jin was fast enough to pick her up & running to his car to drive her to the hospital. 


                          
She was in the O.T. when Jin made a call to her family.
                          
"Hello" - Jungkook received a call from an unknown number. 
"Uhh, Is that Jungkook? I'm Jin."
"Oh, Jin hyung? What happened?"
"Can you come to Seoul hospital right now?"
"H-hospital? Why hyung? How's my noona?"
"Everything is fine Jungkook. Just come as soon as possible & obviously with your parents. I'm here with her."
"But hyung why she is in the hospital? "
"Kook just come fast. I told you she is fine just little sick"
"I'm coming hyung. Just stay with her."
                          
Jungkook rushed to his parents as they are in Jungkook's school as today was his high school graduation day.

                          
The doctor came out from the O.T. with a serious face. Jin ran to him & asked about her.
                          
"Doctor? How's she?"
"You're? "
"I'm her friend & I already called her family but they are coming from Busan so they will take time."
"Okay. Honestly she is not fine, she is very weak. Her whole body is covered in cuts. She cuts herself very often & her depression is really severe. I don't know how to say this but you have to prepare yourself."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Be strong, I don't think she can survive after delivery. We are really sorry."
With that the doctor went back to the operation & Jin was sitting on floor crying.

                          
"Jungkook what happen to her please tell us?" - Mrs. Jeon asked her son while crying. They are already on the way to Seoul. 
"I don't know mom. Jin hyung didn't said anything. He said she is little sick. Dad how much time will take?" 
"She will be fine. She will be fine. Don't worry. " - Mr. Jeon tried to console them but deep down he was also very tensed about his daughter. 

                          
The doctor came out from the O.T. with his head hung low. Jin went to him with a hopeful eyes. 
"Its a baby girl & the baby is absolutely fine but        .  .  I'm sorry Ms. Jihyo, um she is no more. I'm really sorry." - the doctor went away from there.
Jin fell on his knees as tears started to roll from his eyes.
                          
Jeon family reached the hospital after four hours of long drive. Jungkook spotted Jin on the floor, crying.
                          
"Jin hyung? Why are you crying? What happened to my noona? Where is she?" - Jungkook asked restlessly. 
                          
Jin couldn't form a word, his voice choked. He tried to voice out the situation but the tears didn't let him.
                          
Then a nurse walked to them with a little angel in her arms.
"Ms. Jihyo's daughter." - the nurse said looking at the jeon family. 
The family was shocked, their eyes wide open & mouth open agape. They couldn't process what was happening. Suddenly the baby girl started crying & Jungkook hold her in his arms & the baby stopped crying almost immediately. 
                          
They all looked at Jin with a questioning face so he told them everything about Jihyo, how she met Jihoon & what Jihoon did to her. 
                          
"So much happened to her & she didn't let us know anything. Where is she? I want to see her. Please tell me." - Mrs. Jeon crying her heart out as she asked Jin about her daughter. 
The doctor came to them.
"Ms. Jihyo's family?" - the doctor asked with a guilt in his voice.
"Yes doctor,  please tell us where she is?" - Mr. Jeon literally begged to the doctor. 
"When they admitted her today she was really very weak & she was in lot of pain as she harmed herself almost every day." - the doctor paused for some moments to say the most heartbreaking news to them.
"We tried our best but sorry. She is no more. I'm sorry for your loss."
                          
The whole family broke down, they were crying hard. Jungkook was hugging the baby in his arms securely and Jin hugged him as tears rolling down from his eyes too.
                          
They need each others support, they need each other to cope up with this heartbreaking situation. 
                          
"She is my daughter from now on & I promise noona I will protect her with any cost."
