Kida finished her food before standing with the general. He started walking and she finished putting out the fire before following him. After a bit of walking he lead Kida to a hot spring it had two separate sides with a huge rock dividing them enough for privacy for both. He left her at one and went to the other. Kida undressed quickly scrubbing her kimono and hanging it to dry. He waited until he heard Kida enter the water before undressing and getting into his side of the spring. He submerged fully into the water and stayed there for a few minutes when he resurfaced he could hear the woman softly humming to herself. The tune was very calming to him as he sat there in the spring and listened to her. He closed his eyes and relaxed into the water. Kida was almost done and her kimono looked about dry so she slowly climbed out of the water wringing out her long blue hair she stopped hearing a rustle in the bushes in front of her. Out stepped Jirachi and his two men. Kida stumbled back into the water. "Look who we've found again men. Now we can sell her for a second time. Oh look she hasn't any clothes on either." Jirachi sneered and his two men laughed amused knowing what their boss was hinting towards. Jirachi started walking towards Kida licking his lips as he reached the water. The general had grabbed ahold of his sword and jumped the rock that separated the two sides from each other. Swinging his sword right down on Jirachi's hand severing it from his wrist. The general had landed right in front of Kida without warning he reached his hand back and steadied her from falling backwards into the water. Jirachi's hand fell into the water and the general kicked it out. "Damn you demon! You cut off my hand!" Jirachi yelled out in pain holding his wrist. The general narrowed his eyes and readied his sword. Jirachi the coward that he was slowly backed out of the water and him and his men high tailed it out of the clearing running as fast as they could. Kida was shocked by what had happened and she was breathing heavy. The general turned around to face Kida but averted his eyes from her has she was still naked and was too in shock to cover herself. "Woman are you hurt?" He asked she stood there staring at him. She was speechless not just because of him saving her but because he was also naked and right in front of her. Once she snapped out of it she gasped and turned covering herself. At that him looked down he went wide eyed when he realized that he was naked still and standing three feet from the woman who was also naked. He quickly jumped back over the rock and got dressed. He heard Kida get out and quickly dress also. He returned to her and guided her back to the path they were following During her stumbled to get away from Jirachi and his men Kida has sprained her ankle and was limping after almost a mile he stopped and went into the forest to find a suitable spot. After about half an hour of walking he stopped. "We will stay here until you are better. I cant bring an injured woman back with me." He said kneeling down clearing debris away from their now campsite. Kida took the ribbon from her hair and wrapped it around her ankle. He watched as she did this and smirk at her clever idea most women wouldn't even have thought of that. He raised his eyes catching hers in his sight. Her eyes seemed a little less violet and more blue. "What is your name?" She asked him in a soft voice. He was a little shocked and wasn't expecting her to ask him that let alone talk to him at all. "Kirin. General Kirin." He said with pride for his title. "Well thank you General Kirin. For saving me from those men." He raised his eyebrows. He nodded to her in acknowledgment. He stood and disappeared into the forest and came back a little while later with herb. He used rocks to grind the herbs into a paste. He got up and powdered the perimeter to his their scents from demons passing by. Then he kneeled in front of Kida and gently took her ankle and untied the ribbon and applied the paste to her ankle and rewrapped it. He then disappeared into the forest once again. Kida watched as he walked away. If it weren't for him she knew those men would've done horrible things to her. He returned with some sort of bird which he plucked the feathers out of and gutted he clawed half of it off and the rest put on a stick to be cooked once the fire was made he cooked the bird and gave it to Kida. She noticed he had not touched the half that was raw until he was done cooking her half. She raised her eyebrow at how sweet a notion that was. "Kida." She blurted out softly. While he devoured his raw meat. His eyebrows went up and he swallowed and looked at her clearly confused. "My name. Its Kida." He looked at her for a moment "Kida." He said then nodded as if he was approving of her name. He watched her from the corner of his eye as she ate. Since he met her he had wondered if she even had a name. After finishing she tossed the stick onto the fire. She watched as he stared up at the clouds above them. She leaned back against the tree and relaxed completely. She knew full well this man would protect her as he did earlier. Kirin's attention was drawn to Kida who had relaxed against a tree. She looked up at the sky above and he saw her eyes were completely blue there was no violet in them at all. She smiled up at the sky and he was taken aback by it. He looked to the sky. The rest of the day was uneventful he had to scold Kida a few times for trying to get up and walk on her sprained ankle. He was coming to realize she was a little stubborn. She had told him about her time and where she lived about her home and her animals. He was astounded by her story and she didnt even know how she got here or why she was wearing such indecent clothes. He told her about the supreme witch Amelia and how rumors of her return fueled the people that were trying to buy her. He told her of Amelia's life before she was murdered by an unknown foe and the horrible things that had happened when she returned from the dead. Kida was shocked at this realization and wondered if that's the reason she didnt remember anything between getting here and the men pulling weapons on her when she first woke up in this time. Soon they were watching meteors pass in the sky and she explain that they would call this a meteor shower in the future and that they could predict it days before it would happen. Kirin was amazed by the future and by the things Kida knew and talked about. They sat side by side talking about everything their dislikes and their favorable things. Their opinions and their beliefs. When they meteor shower had stopped Kida explained how the cities were bright at night that seeing the stars this clear was hard to do that's why she had worked so hard to buy such a big piece of land so she could see them whenever she wanted. After starting at the sky Kida soon fell asleep with her head falling on Kirin's shoulder. He tensed up and looked down at her sleeping and relaxed and draped his cloak around her to keep her war Kida didnt stir in her sleep that night she slept peacefully and Kirin didnt move at all afraid she would get restless and start stirring. He watched the sky and listened to her soft breathing as she slept.
