picking it up, i feel a wave of heart break.
                          
"oh hey! it's on," his voice is different, the audio makes it have more static. "i'm a vlogger now, say hi,"
                          
he points the go-pro at me. that shirt i was wearing, i remember picking it out that day. it was christmas day, i had put on a shirt before, but it didn't help me get warm, so i wore that sweater.
                          
"hiiiii!" i had a big smile, happy he was using the gift i bought him.
                          
i brush my fingers along the screen. why can't he be here now? giving me those silly smiles, those stupid jokes.
                          
"i'm gonna get famous, just you watch," he takes the screen off me, pointing to himself. he looks directly into the camera. he looked different back then. had more of a baby face, and his hair was more blonde. 
                          
memories of that night were playing in my head. we hadn't even got together then, we were just two teenagers who had a crush on eachother.
