This is irrelevant but I can imagine Dabi singing Angel by Theory Of A Deadman. (Won't let me add in the song so I recommend listening to it)

(Point out errors for me, I wrote this while half asleep)

Dinner was quiet, though he did keep glancing at me, tapping his fingers on the edge of his knee.

"How's your wing?"

"Ah- it's fine!"

"Don't be so timid. We're heading out when you're done eating."

"What for?"

"I need groceries and I'm not leaving you by yourself. We're gonna head down to the shopping center so that I can actually get you some clothes too."

"But I've never been that way."

"So?"

"There's bodies down there...I moved all of the ones in my area before they decomposed but I don't go very far otherwise."

"Don't worry, you'll be wearing a mask so it won't be so bad."

"But I don't want to see that."

"Come on, just trust me. I cleared out the top floor since not much is on the bottom so nothing is up there. Just keep your eyes closed."

"But-"

"It'll be fine. I'll bring Sora."
-
I was reluctant to go with him, even if he forced me to go. The mask covering the bottom half of my face was uncomfortable and a little difficult to breathe in.

"Dabi I don't like this...it's getting dark."

"The street lights will be on soon, don't freak out on me."

Sora trotted close behind, sticking to my side like glue as Dabi led up further away form the streets I'd grown familiar with.

In the distance, I could see a few lumps on the ground. More and more of them as we walked further.

The street lights flipped on, making me flinch and stand in place when I saw that they were only bodies. Young and old, all of people who once roamed these streets like we had been for the past three years.

"Come here Keigo.", Dabi wrapped an arm around the back of my head, covering my eyes with one hand and grabbing my wrist with the other to guide me in the right direction.

"Why are there so many of-"

"Sh, don't think about that."

I felt like I was walking through a graveyard while listening to his instructions. It smelled terrible and as he led me around, I could feel the edge of my shoe hit a few of the dead bodies.

"I think I'm gonna be sick."

"It's just trash on the ground, okay? There's nobody else here."

His voice was comforting, allowing me to drown out most of what I could feel around me. I heard him open a door and pull his hand form my eyes, still holding my wrist.

"Keep your eyes closed."

It's hard to believe that this had once been my home. So many places I'd grown to protect, now my worst nightmare.

I heard what sounded like an elevator opening before he led me a little further. I then heard it close.

"You can open them now."

I did as he said, opening my eyes and staring down at Sora, who sat comfortably at my feet.

"See, it's fine. Nobody's here."
