It was just like any other day, I spent most of my day sitting in my room. Reading and such, something to distract me from the thoughts that were racing around my head.
I hadn't seen Katsuki in two days now. Mostly because I've been hiding myself. As much as I enjoyed having someone to talk to, it felt wrong.
Sometimes I wish he never found me, I'm only going to miss our dumb conversations when he loses interest in me. Or kills me. Or I kill him.
I still think back to the way he reacted when he first saw me, a week ago. I wonder if he still plans to try and take me down. He is a hero after all, and I am a villain. Maybe this is some whole big trap, it didn't matter to me though, I really didn't care what happened to me. I didn't have anyone or anything to live for.
I placed down my book after re-reading the same sentence over and over again, unable to focus.
I walked through the kitchen, my eyes avoided the bedroom door that dust had collected on. It's my parents room, well it was. I stepped outside and was hit by the cold air. The moonlight was intense tonight.
I had no plan of what to do. To be honest, I was just bored. I made my way up to a small curry stall. However, before I could order, my eyes met with familiar crimson ones.
"Katsuki-"
"What, you following me?" He joked. I noticed a red haired man, similar in height to him standing next to him. He looked me up and down causing me freeze up a bit.
"Who's this?" He said smiling.
"No one. Just a girl I met a few days ago."
"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm kirishima, what's you're name?" He asked, he was much more friendly than katsuki.
He reached his hand out to shake my hand. I couldn't do anything but stare at it. Old memories began resurfacing. The fear of what would happen if I were to touch his skin.
Kirishima shot Bakugo a confused glance after seeing my reaction.
"I don't know, I think she has a thing for germs." Bakugo said crossing his arms. "Her name is...Mai."
What, no it's not. I squinted my eyes in response to his lie.
"Well, Mai, we were about to go for a drink, wanna join us?" Kirishima said cheerfully.
"No she doesn't." Bakugo huffed. He was acting differently infront of his friend. It bothered me, he's usually less brash.
"Let the lady answer, Bakugo."
In all honesty I didn't want to go. I wanted to go home. So why did I nod my head?
"Perfect, I'll pay!" Kirishima said. It didn't matter to me though, I wouldn't be ordering anything.
Kirishima walked ahead slightly, leaving me and Bakugo walking next to each other. It was a nice night, I think it was a Friday meaning the streets were busier than usual.
My normal fear of crowded places seemed to be less intense. Was it because I was with Bakugo?
"You're staring." He hissed.
"Are you and Kirishima friends?"
"What- what kind of dumb question is that." He growled.
I opened my mouth to speak but hesitated to get the words out. After a few more seconds by voice finally came through.
"Are me and you friends?"
He raised his eyebrows and looked down at me.
"Me and you?" He said.
I haven't had a friend in so long. I wanted him to be my friend, but then again not much good would come from it. Eventually he would have to cut ties with me. I sighed at my stupidity. I'm a villain, he's a hero. He was sent on a mission to kill me, and now I'm walking next to him to go get a drink, asking him to be my friend.
"I should just go." I said before quickly turning around.
"Wait-" he started, but I was gone before he could stop me.
