This label of theirs kept him and those traitorous inklings-really really small specks-of-emotions-that-could-be-more-than-brothers-or-friends in check.

Yes, they attend the same university.

Yes, they are in the same faculty.

Yes, they are both hazers.

Yes, they are casted for a series, a BL series, with a story that could have been based off of them.

Shut up fate, this is just a coincidence.

If he were to be honest with himself, the younger male had intrigued him from the very beginning, ever since he saw him playing the drums at one of their faculty events.

He'll never share with anyone what he truly thought of that moment. The youthfulness, the talent, the energy. He was shining so brightly, Singto couldn't look away.

Even though this was the smallest of encounters, he was changed. He admired the way this boy was living his life, and that wide, dimpled smile simply warmed his heart. From there on, he was inspired to do the same.

And the feeling from that day stayed with him. Just that small moment gave Singto the courage to take a leap of faith and audition for Sotus the Series.

Who could have guessed that it would lead him back to Krist?

He entered the audition room on that (not) fateful day, dressed exactly the same as him from head to toe, to audition for the part opposite to his.

To say he was shocked was to say the least. Instead, he couldn't help the excitement that started bubbling up. Barely remembering that he was the older one, he held his tongue so that the other man could greet him first.

Then they auditioned together and the rest as they say, was history.

Working together was actually really fun for Singto. While he always knew Krist, he never really knew him. All the new things he uncovered about the younger man brought him innumerable joy. He was fiercely loyal, stubbornly hardworking, and incredibly adorable.

Get it together Singto. Stop thinking Krist is cute.

And you MUST stop thinking he's cuter than a girl, cuter than anyone else you've ever met.

It's one thing to admire the man; it's a whole other issue of having a c-

Cr-

Never mind, not going there.

He is fully aware of the fairer man's emotional unavailability. Has known for years.

So why does his heart do little flutters whenever they have to stare into each other's eyes! Or that tingle that runs up his spine with the lightest of touches!

Or how seeing Krist smile makes him so happy, that he can't help but smile back at him.

Singto wanted to bang his head against the table till he could knock some of his senses back. He was definitely overthinking their interactions.

This is all because he's growing as an actor that he's able to stay in character, right?

Hopefully, he is such a good actor that he can keep his internal battle in check.

(What Singto doesn't know is that he wasn't very good at keeping it in, because his reactions to their closeness were totally overcompensating and went the complete opposite route of acting normal.)

"P'Singto."

And his heart betrayed him for the umpteenth time by skipping a beat.

Shaking his head, he looked up to see the nong that was plaguing his thoughts and settling in comfortably in his heart.

"Yeah?" He managed to reply.

All of a sudden, Krist moved within centimeters of his face, with one hand on Singto's forehead while the other hand was on his own.

"Are you feeling okay? You don't seem feverish but you've been staring blankly for the last half hour."

Caught off guard, Singto jerked back but he regained his composure and managed to avoid swatting Krist's hand away.

"Ah, I'm okay Krist. I didn't get enough sleep last night."

Nodding, Krist took a seat next to Singto and without giving him time to recover, launched a second attack and turned his lips to his ears to whisper, "Shall I help you sleep tonight?"

Eyes widened, Singto hissed low, "Krist!"

Krist leaned back and all Singto could see was a large smile breaking out on the younger man's face as a hearty laugh peeled out.

"Did I do it this time?! You finally got embarrassed, right?"

Sighing in frustration, Singto pulled the laughing nong close to him once more and repeated the same action to him, a husky tone to his voice as he gave his reply by his reddening ear. "My answer is yes. I want it."

Jumping from his seat, Krist covered his flushed ear with his hand. "P'! That's an unfair counterattack!"

"Don't start what you can't finish Krist."
