Chapter 17: Family (Part 2)

Hi, this chapter is called Family (Part 2) because I wasn't able to fully write down the rest of the previous chapter. That's why it was a bit shorter. Vote, follow, comment and all that good stuff! Enjoy! 
                          
"Ahhhh! I want festival! I want festival! Give me festival!! " Shima yelled. 
                          
"Do all of you wanna go to the festival? " Usamaro asked. 
                          
"Sure, we'd all be there now if we didn't have work to do. " Konekomaru said while adjusting his glasses. Shima hummed in agreement. 
                          
"So then, if you didn't have any work to do, could all of you go? " Usamaro asked.
                          
"Of course. " Konekomaru smiled. 
                          
"If there wasn't any work to do, everyone in the city would go. " Shima replied. 
                          
"Then everyone in the city must feel the same as you. " Usamaro implied. 
                          
"Yeah man, we all wish we could be at the festival right now. " Shima said. Usamaro smiled. 
                          
*Time Skip *
                          
"What's wrong? " Cheng asked. 
                          
"No one's picking up the phone in headquarters. Not good. " Yukio said while looking at his phone. They were at the site where you and Rin had found Usamaro. The rubble was being removed, so they could find the shrine that was once Usamaro's. 
                          
"We found it! " Yukio and Cheng looked over at the shrine. 
                          
"You're kidding. " Cheng gasped. 
                          
*Over With You *
                          
Many huge parade floats were going down the streets with confetti raining down. The citizens cheered and took pictures of the scene. The boats, that were decorated with rabbits, were coming into port. The biggest rabbit was brought closer, as the paladin was riding another float. 
                          
"Behold, the legendary exorcist has arrived. I've come for you, demon rabbit. Prepare yourself for an epic battle! " He exclaimed. You and the others decided to go to the festival. Rin began throwing Usamaro up in air, you laughed as you watched both of them having a good time. Bon and the others were dressed up while wearing rabbit hats and playing drums. Yukio was then getting through the crowds of people.
                          
"Hey! What the hell are you doing? " Yukio shouted. 
                          
"What's it look like we're doing, we're partying! " Bon shouted back. 
                          
"No one gave you permission to leave your posts! You have duties to perform! " Yukio shouted again.
                          
"Duties? Like what, this? " Bon said while hitting his drum. 
                          
"No, you're supposed to be on patrol right now! " Yukio shouted angrily. 
                          
"Sorry teach, but that's first I've heard of it! " Shima replied. Yukio looked at them shockingly. 
                          
"Oh Mr. Okumura, you just have to try one of these. " 
                          
"What have you been keeping yourself with, Mr. Okumura? What the devils wrong with your arm, hmm? " Another teacher spoke. 
                          
"The teachers, the students, what's going on around here? " Yukio muttered. Suddenly a loud crashing noise was heard, as a yellow molb attacked. 
                          
" My god! How'd it get through the barrier?! " 
                          
"What's that thing!? " Bon shouted.
                          
"I think it's called a molb or something. " Konekomaru replied. You and Rin held Usamaro protectively.
                          
"I've never seen- Woah look out! " Shima exclaimed as the molb jumped onto the platform you were on. Yukio took out his gun and began to shoot it, it's body swelled up and exploded, covering Bon, Konekomaru and Shima in yellow goop. 
                          
"Ugh, what's with all the icky goo?" Bon complained. 
                          
"Usamaro! " Rin shouted. You and Rin looked around for Usamaro, who you were separated from during the commotion.  
                          
*Meanwhile With Usamaro*
                          
He squeezed his way out of the crowd. 
                          
"Rin! (Y/N)! Where are you! " Usamaro shouted. He looked around for any sign of you. 
                          
"Oh! Rin! " Usamaro smiled as he saw someone who wore the same outfit as Rin. He pulled himself away from the crowd of people and ran towards the figure.
                          
"Where did you go? " Usamaro smiled as he grabbed the person's hand.
                          
"Huh? " 
                          
"Shirotori, you know this kid?" One boy asked.
                          
"Nah. " They all walked away, leaving Usamaro with a sad expression. 
                          
"Hey, the man of the year is about to kill the demon rabbit! " A person shouted. A crowd of people then ran by Usamaro, knocking him over.
                          
"Hey kid, are you okay? " A man asked. 
                          
"Where's your mommy and daddy? " A woman asked. Usamaro stood up. 
                          
"You alone? " The man asked. Usamaro's face grew more worried.
                          
"What's your name honey? Do you know where you live? " The woman said sweetly. Usamaro was about to start crying until, Rin tapped him on the shoulder. 
                          
"Usamaro! Are you alright? " You said as you cupped his face.
                          
"Hey, don't go wandering off like that, we were looking all over for you. " Rin scolded. 
                          
"Rin... (Y/N)... " Usamaro muttered as his eyes became teary. 
                          
"Well, looks like you found your parents now, and that's what matters. " The woman said as she walked away with her lover. You blushed. 
                          
"Come on, let's get out of here." Rin said as he began walking. Usamaro then grabbed both of your hands. You both turned around to him. He pouted. 

                          
The paladin then stabbed the demon rabbit float on the forehead, as red confetti shot out. Everyone cheered at the scene. He laughed heroically and waved to the crowd as the eyes of the rabbit rolled back, showing the whites of its eyes. Rin then took you and Usamaro onto the roof of a building. He stretched out his hand and caught some of the red confetti that was raining down from the sky. You and Rin sat next to each other, holding hands and keeping Usamaro in between. 
                          
"When the festival's all over, I'm going to get sealed away again aren't I? " Usamaro said with a grim face. You and Rin smiled softly.
                          
"Don't worry, we'll figure something out. " Rin said. You and Rin pulled Usamaro closer, holding him close as you leaned your head against Rin and he wrapped his arm around you. Later, you all went over to a stand that sold masks. Rin bought the rabbit one as he put it on Usamaro. You laughed. Usamaro pulled it up and glared at Rin and you. Afterwards, Rin put Usamaro onto his shoulders, while holding your hand. You were all walking around, and checking all the attractions.
