"I'm nervous." Chastity whispered across from me causing me to laugh at her. "I'll be right across from you it will be okay." I reply softly.
We were both getting harnessed to the two zip lines that were right across from each other. I looked out at all the beautiful trees around me. "It's going to beautiful going across this." Chastity mumbled as she smiled over at me. I nodded as I walked towards the edge of the platform we were standing on.
"You guys are good to go whenever you are ready." The instructor told us. "Will you hold my hand as we run?" Chastity asked me softly.
"Of course." I say softly as I reach my hand out to her. She grabs my hand and I immediately feel butterflies erupt in my stomach. I shake away the feeling as I focus on what we are about to do.
"On the count of 3." I say to Chastity. She gives me a nervous look as she looks over the edge. "It is going to be okay. I'll be next to you the entire time." I say as I try and reassure her.
"Hurry up love birds. I want to go next!" Candace yelled from behind us. Chastity flicked her off with her free hand cauisng me to laugh.
"Okay. 3...2...1!" Chastity squealed. We both ran off the platform and our feet lifted off the ground. I felt chastity's hand release from mine because she was too far away. I felt the wind blowing against my hair as I yelled in excitement at the feeling of practically flying. I looked over at Chastity and couldn't help but smile at her. Her hair was blowing all over the place as she had a huge grin on her face. She looked absolutely stunning as she looked all around us in amazement.
"This is so cool!" She yells as she looks over at me. I quickly look away and try and focus on the beautiful sites around us but my mind only seems to think about her. What are the odds we have run into each other this many times? That's gotta be a sign from the universe or something. I don't know exactly how I feel about her but I do know she makes me feel a special kind of way. We reach the other side and our feet are soon met by the ground again.
"That was amazing." Chastity says breathlessly as she looks over at me. I laugh as her hair was messily covering her face. "It was insane." I mumble.
"Ready to go back?" I ask Chastity as I gesture to the zip line. "You guys are secure to go back." A worker tells us as she checks our equipment.
"I'll race you to the other side Seavey." Chastity says playfully as she runs off the platform. "Cheater!" I yell as I quickly run behind her.
Soon my feet have left the ground again and I'm soaring through the air. Chasity is a little ahead of me. She lifts her arms all the way out and tilts her head back as she yells. I watch her in amazement as she seems so happy. I couldn't help but feel myself falling for her. How could I not? Everything she does is adorable.
"I win!" Chastity says playfully as she stands on the platform. I land on the platform as I shake my head. "You had a unfair advantage." I reply playfully as I take off my equipment.
"How was it?" Candace asks us in an excited tone. "Amazing." I say as Chastity nods.
Candace and Jonah get ready to go next as I take off the last of the equipment.
I take off my helmet and Chastity looks up at me and laughs. "Helmet hair." She says softly as she gets on her tip toes and runs her fingers through my hair. I stare down at her as she ruffles my hair. "There you go." She says as she backs away from me.
She takes off her helmet and her hair is very poofy. I thought she looked beautiful even with the crazy hair. "Dear Lord. Look away I need to fix this monster." Chasity rambled as she ran her fingers through her hair.
"It looks good. Leave it alone." I say softly as I remove her hands from her hair. She looks up at me as I stare down at her. Her eyes meet mine as I take a deep breath. I glanced down at her lips and felt an overwhelming urge to kiss her. I quickly looked away from her and ran a hand through my hair.
"You doing anything tonight?" I ask her softly. "Not that I can think of." She says as she plays with her in fingers.
"Maybe we could get drinks tonight. And you can Uh.. invite Candace and the guys can come." I stutter as I wait for her response. "I would love that." She says as she smiles up at me.
