“Well done, Miss Woods.” Pike said as he gave Lexa’s test back. The A was clearly visible at the top of her paper with a red marker. She didn’t like to brag with her scores, especially not when she could hear Pike say to other pupils they had to try their best more. “Damn why are you so good at this? This is like your third A in a row.” A girl beside her said and Lexa looked at her. She had seen her before but never spoke to her. This class was the only one they shared. Lexa started to blush and fastly put the paper in her backpack, hoping no one else would have seen it. “I didn’t think anyone would have noticed it.” Lexa said and the girl smiled. “I’m pretty sure I’m the only one since you always put them in your backpack so quickly.” She said and Lexa was surprised the girl had noticed so much of her. “I don’t like bragging about scores, especially not when other’s their scores are…” Lexa didn’t finish her sentence because her eyes had wandered to the girl’s paper and saw the bad score. “You can say it. When other’s scores suck. Like mine.” The girl said while she showed the paper clearly to Lexa again. “I’m just too dumb for this.” She said and Lexa’s brows furrowed. “Don’t say that. I’m sure you’re not. It can be because of your study method.”
“Any advice?  Because yours seem to work.” The girl asked and the schoolbell started to ring right after. It signaled the end of their school day and Lexa knew Clarke would be waiting on her right outside so they could walk together home. “I’m sorry. Am I keeping you up?” The girl had noticed Lexa staring at the clock. “There is someone waiting on me but we can maybe discuss this later?” Lexa suggested. “Yeah sure. We do have a test next class too though but I’ll try to look up things on the internet. Thanks though.” The girl said while she got up from her seat and walked out of class. Lexa had forgotten about the test and started to feel bad for not helping her out. She  hurried out of class, chasing the girl. She wanted to call her name but then realised that she didn’t even know it. Instead she pulled her shoulder and the girl turned around, clearly surprised. “You could give me your number and maybe I can give you some advice?” Lexa suggested, out of breath of the  run she had to do and a huge smile appeared on the girl’s face. “Yeah sure. That would be great.” She said with a nod and Lexa gave her her phone so she could add her number to her contacts. While Lexa waited she looked around and could see Clarke in the distance looking at her with a questionable gaze. Lexa didn’t say anything and just turned back to the girl in front of her who gave her her phone back. “Costia.” Lexa said when she read it at the top of her screen and the girl smiled. Lexa typed something to her and then looked at the girl to see her reaction. “I know who you are.” The girl responded when she read Lexa’s message saying ‘Lexa’. Lexa didn’t know what to say on that, she was still surprised someone knew so much of her or had paid so much attention to her without really knowing or talking to her. “I have to go now.” Lexa said after there was an awkward silence between the two and the girl took a step aside so Lexa could pass. “I’ll text you or you can text me.” Lexa said and Costia nodded with a smile before waving her goodbye and Lexa walked over to the blonde who had been waiting and watching her the whole time. “Who’s that?” Clarke asked immediately with a confused face while both of them started to walk home. “Costia. She’s in my biology class.”
“And you asked for her number?” Clarke asked and Lexa scoffed. “Of course not. I mean yes but not in that way. She needs some help with studying and I’ll try to give her some advice.” Lexa explained and Clarke raised her eyebrows in surprise. “What?” Lexa asked when she could see the blonde’s face. “I don’t know. It’s just weird.”
“What is? Me trying to help people? It’s not that weird.”
“Of course not but I don’t know.” Clarke said and Lexa chuckled. “You’re the one acting weird here, Clarke.” Lexa said with a smile and Clarke pushed her playfully which made the brunette lose her balance for a second. Both of them continued their way home while laughing and telling each other about their day.

“When are you done?” Clarke asked with a sigh as she was playing the guitar in Lexa’s bed, waiting for the brunette to finish her homework so they could watch a movie. “You’ve asked me that 3 times for the past 5 minutes.” Lexa said with a sigh while writing something down. “I’ve been waiting here for you for about an hour already.”
“You’re really impatient. You know that?” Lexa asked while she turned around in her office chair. “If I say that I do know that, will you come then?” Clarke asked with hope her eyes and Lexa chuckled while she got up from her chair. Clarke knew what that meant and a smile appeared on her face too. “I want to cuddle.” Clarke said while she laid her guitar on the ground  and she opened her arms. Just when Lexa was going to join her, they could both hear the sound of a phone ringing. Clarke groaned while Lexa walked to her desk again to check her phone. “Rule number one, no phones while we watch a movie.” Clarke said. “It’s Costia.” Lexa said while she took her phone and Clarke groaned again. “More schoolwork?” She asked with disgust and Lexa shrugged. “We have a biology test next lesson again and I said I would help her.”
“Now?” Clarke asked and Lexa shrugged again. “I think so. She’s calling so it must be urgent right?” Lexa asked and now it was Clarke’s turn to shrug. “Hello?” Lexa said after she picked up and Clarke dropped her head on the pillow. Clarke didn’t pay attention at the  conversation first until she heard Lexa chuckle and turned around to her side to look at the brunette. After a while of observing Lexa, she got up from the bed and it caught Lexa’s attention. “Put it on speaker.” Clarke whispered but the brunette shook her head, making clear she wasn’t going to do that. Clarke raised her eyebrows in a warning look but Lexa kept on talking to Costia. “Lexa…” Clarke warned with a whispering voice and Lexa just held her finger in front of Clarke to show her to shut up and wait but Clarke didn’t take it. She pushed the hand away and jumped on Lexa’s back. “Clarke what the hell!” Lexa said while she stretched her arm up so the blonde couldn’t reach it. Lexa could hear Costia calling her name over the phone so she had no other option to put it on speaker so she could talk to her. “Are you still there?” Costia’s voice filled the room once she was on speaker and Clarke had to hide her face in Lexa’s neck to not let any sound out of laughter. “Yeah sorry. I’m still here. Can we actually take this conversation some other time? Like tomorrow in the library?” Lexa asked and she had to control her voice too to not make anything sound suspicious. “Yeah great. I’ll see you tomorrow.” She said and Lexa was relieved when the call ended. Clarke immediately bursted out in laughter once the call ended and Lexa couldn’t help but laugh too. “You’re crazy, you know?” She said and Clarke got off her back. “I’m desperate to watch a movie with you and get cuddles. So don’t let my impatient ass wait more.” Clarke said while she got back in the bed and Lexa joined her, shaking her head while she still couldn’t believe what Clarke had just done.
