1k Special!!! - Rumors

                                    

                                          
This is something I've read before somewhere but I wanted to try my own version of it. I'm really thankful for so many reads! So this was originally just a one shot but since my 1k is taking so long I decided to make that my 5k Special and this my 3k Special.
                          
"Why didn't you tell me?!" Alya screeched.
                          
"What?" Marinette asked in complete confusion.
                          
"That Adrien proposed!" She said in excitement.
                          
Marinette held onto her face of confusion and said, "Adrien proposed? What are you taking about?"
                          
Alya's face twisted into confusion as she pulled out her phone and pulled up a picture to show Marinette a picture of Adrien down on his knee holding up a small shiny to a standing Marinette. "Then what's this?"
                          
Marinette looked at the photo incredulously. "Are our fans stalking us?"
                          
Alya gave her a deadpan look. "That's what you see? Now! Adrien's proposing! What'd you say?" She said excitedly.
                          
Marinette chuckled, "That's not Adrien proposing. Manon dropped one of her earrings at the park so we went on a walk to look for it and Adrien found it. That's it!"
                          
Alya's excited look fell. "Awww! I was so excited, girl!"
                          
"You can send him the picture. Maybe it'll give him some ideas," Marinette snickered.

Adrienette walked out off the school holding hands and discussing they're stalker fans after talking about the picture. They walked out to the park only to see a group of fangirls running toward them.
                          
They groaned in unison, ready to be mobbed. "I thought we were trying to avoid them!" Marinette complained. She was tired of all the mobbing after the supposed 'proposal.'
                          
"We were," Adrien agreed. "But they're so many it's like impossible to avoid them."
                          
A flurry of excited girls surrounded them all asking questions around the general topic they were trying to avoid.
                          
"What type of wedding are you guys having?"
                          
"Maybe it'll be at the beach and they can sit on the sand and watch the sunset!"
                          
"Where's the engagement ring? How much did it cost? What stones were on their?"
                          
Marinette tried to cut in through all the questions, "Adrien didn't pro-"
                          
"Are you guys gonna have a private wedding in a garden? It would be so mystical and pretty!" A girl cut in, completely ignoring Marinette.
                          
That idea actually appealed to Marinette but she didn't want to admit it. As the questions died down the mob left, realizing they were intruding and they probably had a wedding to plan.
                          
"Is it gonna be like this for the rest of my life?" Marinette complained in tiredness. She was obviously exhausted after hearing everyone ask about her 'engagement.'
                          
They walked to the bakery, tired and walk of Marientte's room to get some sleep. They tumbled onto her bed and cuddled into each other to get some rest.

Marinette sat on a park bench rubbing her sore stomach. "Man that akuma could punch!" She thought in her head.
                          
As she was trying to sooth the pain before she could get home to get an ice pack. She knew she hat to leave quickly before someone or the other would make some new rumors about her.
                          
She groaned and stood up still clutching her stomach in pain and began trudging home. "First the akuma had to wake me up at 6 and then punch me in the stomach! Great!" She thought to herself sarcastically. "Next thing you know my fans are going to think I'm pregnant!"

Marinette walked out of the bakery, holding hands with Adrien and smiling. She was happy her stomach finally stopped aching after taking a nap.
                          
A fan then came running up squealing, "Are you really pregnant? When can you guys find out the gender? Ohh! I vcsn't wait!"
                          
Marinette internally groaned while glancing at Adrien who gave her a confused glance. She moved her mouth to his ear and whispered, "I was rubbing my stomach on the way back to the bakery after I got punched by the akuma na dnow I'm pregnant apparently." She continued on, "I knew this would happen!"
                          
Adrien chuckled and turned to her annoyed face and looked back at their fan. "She's not pregnant."
                          
The fan frowned then smiled and squealed again. "You guys probably just don't want too many people to know! Oh! It's such an honor to be one of the first to know! I'll be on the hush up so don't worry!"
                          
It turns out that she wasn't on the hush up and soon almost everyone thought she was pregnant. She was annoyed by everyone asking her and babying her because they thought she was pregnant.

2 years later the couple actually had a private wedding in a garden, happily. But everyone thought they went through a miscarriage because Marinette hadn't had a baby yet.
                          
Just as they began walking to the bakery, a women in her young 30s ran up to them panting, "Hi! I'm really sorry about your miscarriage a year ago. I understand the pain your going through as I've had a miscarriage before too."
                          
The couple just glanced at each other before they burst out laughing. They clutched each other's hands before almost tumbling to the ground in tears of laughter.
                          
The woman frowned, "That's not a laughing matter! You lost a part of you and you are laughing? That's horrible!"
                          
They stood back up and Adrien spoke up, "Ma'am Marinette was never pregnant. The fans started spreading rumors about how they thought Marinette was pregnant when she was rubbing her stomach after a-"
                          
"Cramp!" Marinette cut in hoping to not give any clue about their identities away. "Yeah. I got a cramp and they thought I was pregnant but since I didn't have a baby they thought it was a miscarriage."
                          
The woman blushed before saying, "Oh! I'm sorry! I thought what everyone told me was true since everyone seemed to be saying the same thing. Oh! How rude of me!"
                          
Marinette giggled, "It's all right this happens all the time to us. We've gotten used to it."
                          
After that the woman left and the couple was left walking in the park. "Is this going to be happening for the rest of my life now?" Marinette asked Adrien in exhaustion.
                          
"It's okay Bugaboo. It's been like this my whole life and now I'm used to it." Adrien responded.
