I'm sitting on my bed right now, still processing what had happened.
My mom drove me home so I could get ready for the party, but I haven't moved in almost 20 minutes.
I can't believe I'm still processing something that happened an hour ago. I should've leaned in quicker- or not. Maybe it would've been weird? We're friends. Friends don't kiss.

"Hi Carter. You're going to a party with me tonight. Be ready by 8:45 please, thank you!"

"My friend is picking me up so you can just meet me at my house. It's pretty casual so don't stress too much."
"I think only girls stress over their party fits." He laughed.
"Just come over when you're ready."
"Sure thing."
I hung up the phone and went to my closet, putting together an outfit for later. I got bored so I went onto the groupchat to see what was new.
