Our story starts with a village 100,000 years ago from the present. Scattered around are strange glowing people with spiritual powers called Novalites. Some buildings look like simple markets or huts, whereas others look like floating fortresses with technology way ahead of their time, or for anyone's time for that matter as if it didn't look human. Surrounding them is a rainforest with loads of lush trees and plants filled with life.

Some villagers are playing, trading, or even using their powers to do things such as telekinesis or starting blue and white-flamed fires. A boy and girl are holding hands which doubles up their powerful abilities and glow brighter than others.

In one of the huts lives a young little girl named Nea. Her eyes slowly open up after a nap. Nea's mother, Aura, is in the hut too.

"Wakey wakey, my little sleepyhead," Aura calmly sang. Nea lets out a yawn and stretches her arms out. She sits up in bed.

"Good morning mama," Nea replied. Nea gets out of bed and looks up at her father, Aster, who has just entered the hut. "Morning, papa". Aster starts making his way over to Nea and picks her up, playfully spinning her around. Nea giggles happily.

"Are you ready to learn some more about your power today?" Aster happily said. Nea nods earnestly...

"Yes! Yes please!" Nea excitedly replied. Aster also smiles, walking with Nea in his arms to the hut's kitchen window. Aura also joins them as they have a family moment together.

"Settle down now! We have all day to spend together." Aster laughed. Aura starts to brush Nea's hair with her hand.

"Aww, she's just excited!" Aura calmly said. "I bet you will even beat your father at his own games one day."

Nea smiles again and hugs them both. She then places her hand on the father's nose and giggles happily again. Then let's go. (It's a sign of care and trust in their tribe).

"Maybe! Maybe. First of all, we will need to see if..." Aster can't help but notice outside the window a gathering of Novalites circling on a patch of grass. Aura notices too after Aster's stare outside.

"What's going on out there?" Aura worryingly questioned. Aster gently lowers Nea back down on the ground as he speaks.

"Stay here a minute," Aster whispered to Aura. After putting down Nea on the ground, Aster makes his way outside to join the circle to find out what is happening.

"Papa?" Nea whimpers. She tries to jump up and look out the window but she struggles to see as she is very small. Eventually, she finds a stool to step up on and peer over the edge. Aura is at the entrance to the door as she peers around the edge to see what's happening. The crowd splits as Aster approaches, giving Nea a good look at what everyone is crowding around. It turns out to be a big patch of plant life, burnt as if it were charcoal. "Hmm?"

"Another burnt patch again." One of the Novalite villagers sighs.

"It has been happening everywhere in the past few days." Another villager added. Aster slumps his shoulders, disheartened.

"What do we do to prevent this?" A third villager asked.

Another Novalite joins the crowd.

"There's another patch just outside the village temple!" she anxiously said. Aster thinks for a minute.

"Here, let me try something." Aster proposed. Aster tries to do a few tricks to restore the plant life in the area to full health with his powers. Sadly, the warming glow of his hands does little to restore the area where there was once a lush patch of greenery. Suddenly, the ground shakes furiously once in a matter of seconds. Everyone tries to gather their bearings.
