The team and the army of mystics stood in the warehouse. Phantom and Siren looked at all of them preparing to fight. They knew that this was going to be a tough battle, but they had gone into battle with allies a lot less trustworthy people than those in front of them. All their ghost allies had also arrived, their armies ready to be called at any time.
But the Guys In White were going to attack sooner or later and they were going to have to be as prepared as possible.
"Well, the floor is yours, you two," Dick tells the twins.
The two nodded. Everyone gave their attention to them. Phantom and Siren took deep breaths as they faced them all.
"Alright, everyone," Danny started. "I am sure we all know about the Guys In White. Pretty sure most of you have run afoul of them if you ever came to this realm before."
Mystics like Melinda, Krinos, and Lena all showed visible disgust at the mention of those that they call the "paranoid and violent conspiracy theorists." Ghosts like Pandora, Frostbite, and Dorathea had also had to heal wounded ghosts that had sadly had run-ins with the agents when they had been in this realm.
"This battle is our last chance to save this realm," White says. "This is not about revenge, not about making the agents pay for what they've done, this is about doing what is right. We are avenging all the fallen mystics and ghosts that did not have to suffer if they did not believe we are all evil."
"But at the same time, the agents are all still human," Danny said. "We all have our own laws and justice systems. Our law has always been 'an eye for an eye, a life for a life.' We will do anything to protect our people, but we're not murderers. Do what you have to in defence of yourselves and your kind, but kill only as a last resort."
"And I feel like I should add that maybe also avoid sending the agents to another zip code using a tornado," White stated. "I'm looking at you, Melinda."
The mystics laughed, the witch playfully huffed. But everyone knew that she tended to favor twister and tornado spells when it came to fighting big groups of people.
"You all laugh now, but I remind that it was my cyclone spell that inspired Wizard of Oz," Melinda said. "You're welcome."
"They really are quite unique, aren't they," Kaldur says.
"Did Melinda really just say that she inspired the Wizard of Oz," Dick noticed.
"Well, she did say that she was two-thousand one-hundred and ninety-three years old," Jaime reminded. "Someone's got to get around a lot when you live that long."
"Makes you wonder what types of things Krinos and Lena have been involved with," Robin says. "They are over four-thousand-years-old each."
"I'm not sure I want to know what they've done," Mal said.
The twins were going to continue explaining to the mystics and ghosts, but an explosion was set off somewhere else in town. It also came with the sound of a building collapsing.
"That did not sound good," M'gann stated.
The mystics and ghosts all got ready. The team was surprised how efficient they all were, giving how many different types of mystics and ghosts were in the room. They were a well-oiled machine. Everyone just knew what to do immediately. It almost made sense for the older mystics since they would have lived through a lot of wars and battles. Who knows what type of battles they got into during either of the World Wars or any of the Civil Wars in history. They already knew that Lena had played a part in the Trojan War.
"They are very prepared for war, aren't they," Conner commented.
"Should we be worried about that," Karen asked.
