«Byakuya Togami»
The light is blinding, and I screw up my eyes, trying to make out anything. 
"Makoto?" I yell, but my voice is drowned out by the pounding in my ears. "Makoto-"
"Shh, It's time for my 🎶Performance🎶" yells Junko. The blinding lights fade, revealing a grinning Junko. Her hair is in her two signature bunches, and she's wearing a ringmaster costume, her pale legs laced with knee high black boots. 
"Welcome, all of you, to the killing game!!!" She squeals. "I-
"KILLING GAME?" Kazuichi leaps back, pulling at his hair. 
"You heard me!" 
"No way, you bastard! We won't just go kill each other! You think it's gonna be that easy, huh?" Fuyuhiko snarls. He pulls out a gun, aiming it for Junko's heart, Peko reaching for her sword-
But Junko just laughs.
"Oh, very cute. You think I WOULDN'T wear bulletproof armour?" She laughs. "And yes, you will kill each other if you want to see the outside ever again-"
"Wait. Y-you said you wouldn't hurt them!"
Everybody turns round. Ryota stands up from his chair, hands shaking, and staring with horror at Junko.
"You said... if I helped you,you wouldn't h-hurt them!"
Junko smiles sadistically.
"Oh, cry me a river lover boy. Sometimes people lie!"
"B-b-but you promised." He stammers pathetically. "I won't let you!" He rushes at Junko, teeth clenched, diving forward. Just as he hits her-
BANG
A very pale Ryota lays on the ground. His chest rises up and down, as he takes in his arm- bleeding, pink blood rushing out.
"Makoto, let's go-" I hiss, bit Junko has already turned around.
"I guess I'm gonna break a lot of promises today." She laughs, and With that she pulls a lever and everything goes black.




                          
"Byakuya!" I twist around in the dark, the floor cold beneath my fingers.
"Byakuya!" Someone smashes into me, wrapping their arms around me. My instincts yell at me to fight back, but my heart instantly realised who it is.
"Makoto! I'm so glad you're safe." I clutch onto Makoto, scared he'll disappear again. These few hours have been the worst of my life- Makoto Naegi, missing. My boyfriend, my poor boyfriend, missing.
"I'm so sorry Makoto." I whisper into his hair.
"It's fine, it's fine. We're together now." He murmurs. "But- where are we?"
