"We're sorry for-"
"I'M sorry for eavesdropping ever so carelessly my lady. They did nothing, I led them to it ma'am, and I am the one to blame. Do what you want... just leave the ladies out of it..."
The tall male imidiately cut off the older woman, bowing his head down to you in embarassment.
You sighed. Here we go, repeating yourself again.
"I am not a lady, my name is (Y/n) from now on. Lady is only in front of my father. And, I do not mind your supposed eavesdropping" You said, smiling at the end. The ladies were both a little shocked from your reaction and so was the man.
"So you're... not going to rat us out?"
"Brittany!" The older woman whisper-shouted at the young one, jabbing her into her ribs again.
It made you smile lightly.

"Actualy... I was pretty interested in the topic you three were talking about..." You stepped closer, getting acepted into their little circle. They looked each other with rather calm expressions.
"Well..." Daniel started.
"I was... zoning off again, looking at the sky, trying to find our moon, when the ladies came by and got my full attention" He nodded towards the ladies, making them smile and the younger one, Brittany, even seemed to blush.
"We asked him what is it that he ponders on about all the time" The older lady said.
"Yes, I started explaining and we got a little wrapped up..." Daniel nodded.
"Please, do continue... You've got my full attention as well..." You smiled at him. His voice was very soothing and warm. You could listen to him talk for hours and not get tired. Daniel smiled, seemingly happy about your interest. "Back to it then..." he gave you a nod and looked to the ladies.

"So as I was saying, we can always see the moon at night, and sometimes during the day, it pops up randomly around the sky, and it seems to be blank. Only with some visible circles on it..." He started. You already got super interested in the topic. Daniel was most likely going to talk about something you knew already, but he made it sound ever so interesting.
"What if... and that is just a simple speculation, what if there is someone else on it? Someone that maybe looks like you and me. Are they alone? And do they know we exist?" He started asking, making the older lady chuckle.
"If you rather kept your head down to the cotton than up to the sky" She nodded smiling.
"Mom... the world needs thinkers, even if those thinkers are slaves" Brittany smiled to the lady.
You directed your attention back to Daniel and found that he was looking at you. Your eyes met and you quickly looked back down.
"What do you think my lady?" He asked, wanting your answer.

Now, how to answer this...
"I belive... I belive that we could get there someday... we will get there in a big... in a big ship we'll look around! We will find stuff that is not even here! Who knows, maybe we will live there someday..." You looked at the sky, searching for the moon.
Brittany's mom lowered her gaze and shook with head slowly, while smiling.
"Two thinkers! Why, my lady I would never guess you for that type..." Brittany smiled.
Daniel was very pleased with your light answer on the other hand. He thought you and him would get along.
You three continued to talk about space and stars, untill the two ladies had to leave to do their duties.
Talking with him, it felt like being high...
His soothing voice, his interest in what you had to say, all of that combined into his great looking form... he was a perfect man...
It was already getting dark when you were snapped back to reality, as slavers started shouting for the slaves to get back into the mossy slave house.
Daniel sighed. "I just wish I could see it in it's full night beauty... out of the cracks of the shack..." His words rang in your head, making your heart ache.
"I... I have to go. I'm sure you understand. But I promise we will meet soon!" You stepped back, smiling at him. He gave you a small, affection filled wave before he got pushed by a slaver from behind.

All of the workers were pushed into the slave house, and it was your time to go home as well.
It partly disgusted you. You were living so nicely, in a clean house and the others had to live so badly, in a moss crawled slave house, just because of their skin. But you were gonna make their stay a lot better by tonight, you were.
You automaticaly went upstairs, to your room and looked around. Normaly you would just grab your phone and scroll wattpad or some social media maybe, but that couldn't happen now.
You just sighed, and did the usual you would do when bored. You laid down on the floor pretty dress or not, you laid.
You thought about today and tomorrow. You thought about Daniel. His smooth honey voice and his friendly personality...
If you'd go to sleep tonight, would you wake up normaly tomorrow? In your normal, boring room, in your normal boring life?
You partly didn't want that. You wanted to stay here. With him.
You waited for a while for something to happen, and something did. The door to your room got knocked on.
"Enter" You said, looking over to the door.
Betty's head peeked out, getting a little spooked from you laying on the floor.
"My... (Y/n) are you feeling alright?" She asked, getting a little more into your room.
"Your cheeks are red and you're... well... on the floor" She asked, sounding genuenly worried.
"Oh it's nothing, what did you need?"
"O-oh, dinner is on the table, sir asked me to call you down" Betty snapped out of her interested transe and explained her being in your room. You thanked her for the notification and went out.

You sat on the railing of your stairs and slid down with a smile on your face. You hopped off at the end and trotted to the dining room. It was rather large, with a fireplace to your left and a door to the kitchen to your right. In the middle of it all, was a long table. In the head of it, sat your father, smiling at you. Your mother was by his left and looked rather tense, and a little displeased with something.
"There she is... I told you she would arrive" Father turned to your mother.
"Past the time though..." She growled quietly, looking you up and down.
You decided to ignore her picky coment and sit down a chair away from your supposed parents.
Nothing could ruin this evening anymore...
