To think the sports festival would end with the hot headed boy winning. I was worried about Shoto since he fought Midoriya but it seemed like he was okay afterwards. Even when he came to me after it was all over and apologized to me I couldn't help but worry. I grabbed my things and made my way downstairs.
"I'm leaving!"
I opened the door and to my surprise I saw Shoto. I closed the door and the boy looked down at the ground.
"Hey.." He said quietly.
"Goodmorning, Shoto."
He was acting strange but I didn't blame him since the whole situation at the sports festival. We walked together in silence but It was calming and I couldn't be more than happy to be next to him like this.
"Y/n.."
I looked up at Shoto and his face was red which was a new sight for me since the boy always wore a cold expression most of the time.
"I'm going to give up on Momo."
My eyes widened and I stopped walking. I was happy to hear him say this but I just couldn't believe it since he was never the type to give up on anything.
"Why?" I asked him.
He looked up at me and looked back down. He kept fidgeting around and I got a bit nervous.
"I'm not interested anymore."
This had to be the work of god right? I was just happy that I didn't need to worry so much anymore. As we made it into class I took my seat. Tokoyami approached me and I looked up at him. He kept his gaze on me.
"S-Sorry. I was unable to be victorious."
Oh, so that's what it was about. I didn't really care if he didn't win because his battle with Momo cheered me up. He beat her and that's all that mattered to me.
"You were awesome out there! Don't get upset because you didn't win. If I were you I'd learn from my mistakes and try even harder next year!"
I smiled and he seemed relieved by what I said. Mr. Aizawa comes in and everyone takes their seats automatically. He seemed tired as usual. He explained to us how we were going to take internships with pro heroes for a week and to choose who we'd go by the end of the day. I wasn't really sure who I was going to go to but after looking at my list I finally decided.
"Mr. Aizawa, here's my form." I hand it to him and he walks away.
"Who did you choose?" I turn around and see Mina.
"Oh, hey mina, His name is Fatgum I think. He seemed like a really nice and genuine hero." I tell her.
She smiles and pats me on the back. "I can't wait to start! I can feel my blood pumping!" I nod.
"Hey Mina, have you ever been in love?" I ask her suddenly.
"I can't say I have. Wait! Are you in love with someone?!" I cover her mouth and nod.
I slowly remove off her face and she smirks.
"Is it that third-year you were with?"
My eyes widened. Like him? Why would she even think that? I mean I barely hang out with Tamaki to ever be able to assume something like that.
"No. Why would you think I like him?" I ask her.
"Well you were sleeping on his lap and the way he stared at you was just so cute! He definitely likes you!"
I couldn't believe what she was saying. Tamaki has a crush on Hado-san so I know that he doesn't like me but I couldn't help but wonder if she was right or not.
