Freddie, June, 1978

"For fuck sake Brian! I've had enough, play your own bloody drums" Roger exclaimed, threw his sticks on the floor and rushed out of the studio.

I crossed my arms and sighed.

"Good job Bri"

"Maybe if you didn't drag Roger out last night, we could've have gotten shit done today"

Brian shook his head and put his guitar down. I corrected my shirt as I tried to avoid looking at him. He was right, we probably would've gotten one song recorded if I hadn't drinking my face off.

I sighed and sat down at the piano. I glanced over the notes I had written down for a song, but nothing made sense. This simply wont work, I thought to myself, the start was amazing, but I just can't move past this line. Shaking my head, I crumbled the paper in front of me, together and threw it in the bin, that was now filled with paper.

Today was just one of those unmotivated days where nothing in my ears, sounds good. Everything was spinning around and the alcohol from last night, were finding its way up my throat. I took few deep breaths and took a sip of water.

It was in the middle of June and even though we aren't starting recording for the new album until next month, we were still meeting up. A headstart you could say.

"Maybe we should just wait until next month, I know I could use a break myself" John said and waved his arms around.

"That's an excellent idea my darling, a break is what we all need" I sang and winked at Bri as he rolled his eyes at me. I clapped my hands and swan over to the door.

"Are you still coming out later?" I asked as I turned around before walking out of the door. I looked at John and he nodded. Brian just sighed loudly and turned his back against me.

"Fabulous, I'll see you later then" I sang and walked out.

Pheobe was already ready with the car and I quickly got in. I exchanged few words with my dear friend and assistant before we took off. It was 6pm so the traffic wasn't as horrible as I'd imagine. A thread from the leather seat were sticking out and I started running it around my fingers.

I sighed and looked out of the window. Few raindrops were falling on it and started racing down. The sky were now completely grey and rain quickly filled the streets.

"Pheobe darling, we're going out tonight. Are you able to assist us?"

"Why yes of course"

"Excellent, now come join me. We'll order Chinese!"

I stepped out of the car and Pheobe drove around the corner to park it. I looked up and walked towards the black door that was the entrance to my flat.

I opened the door and rushed over to Jerry. He was laying on the sofa and stretching his legs as he saw me come over to him.

"My little prince, oh how I've missed you. I hope Pheobe has been good to you, Tom and Oscar! Speaking of Tom, where is that little ball of fur? Tom!" I whined and looked around the flat.

It didn't take long for Tom to come crawling over to me from the kitchen.

"Oh you little cutie, were you eating?" I asked as I stroked him along the back. He started to purr and my heart skipped a beat.

"My beautiful babies" I whispered and Jerry started to roll around, waiting for me to pet his belly. "Come on now, let's get you some treats!" I exclaimed, took Jerry in my arms and strolled out to the kitchen. I grabbed the little bag and shook it few times.
