Please read my note at the end!

{Tords POV}

It's been almost a month since Tom had gotten the visors and he has been really productive, and I mean, REALLY productive. As soon as I get to my office it's nice and clean. All my paper work is done and on my desk, he's up before I am, and I don't wake up until 5 in the morning. Paul says that he is great in the lab and Pat says that the soldiers are improving when being taught by him. He's too good at the jobs that aren't even his! Whenever there's a meeting I need to go to he's already there waiting for me and gone as soon as it ends. Does this man ever sleep?

Because I don't get to see Tom much with him always running around the base, I started to leave little things for him, like candy and notes and stuff like that. Normally I wouldn't allow candy in the base, but he's an exception.

I was at my desk when Paul walked in.

"Sir, I have information."

"What is it? Is something wrong?"

Paul inhaled and looked off to the side, something he never does. "Well, it depends on rather you think it's bad."

I raised an eyebrow. "What did you do now."

"Nonono! I didn't crash a plane this time! It's just that, Tom is kinda, acting weird?"

The mention of Toms name caught me off guard. "What? Why, what's wrong with him?"

"That's the thing, nothing. But workers all over the base think it's strange that he's helping in every area of the base. Especially where sensitive information is at."

"Really. Bring him to me."

"Right away sir."

Once Paul left, I didn't know what to think. I know that he hated me in the past, but that's behind is now. Right? Plus I haven't argued with him since I came back.

I was deep in thought when the door opened. Tom walked in and closed the door behind him.

"Thomas! How great to finally see you! How have you been?"

Toms digital eyes looked unamused. "Eh. Could use some alcohol, but other than that I'm good."

"I see. Tom, can you tell me why you're always busy?"

"Oh, I um," he paused. "I just thought that I'd help around."

I smiled. "Why that's really thoughtful of you Tom."

"Yeah, I just-"

"But I've known you for years, Thomas. So I know when you're lying to me. So I'll let you try again, why are you always busy."

Tom looked down to his feet. "Tord. It's nothing, really."

"Mhm. Well Thomas, let me put this in a more, direct way. Either you tell me the truth or I'm afraid that you can no longer be here."

He looked up at me, his digital eyes now widened. "W-what?"

I know it's harsh, but crush or not there are many lives at risk here. As a leader, I have to put my soldiers first.

"You heard me Thomas. So what will it be."

Tom sighed. "Alright. Just don't react until I'm done, alright?"

"Alright."

Tom took a deep breath and looked at me.

"When I first got the visors I was able to see who was in the army. So I had their names and basic information. But that same week something, weird, happened."

"Weird? How so?"

"I'm not sure, but there's this guy, he seems to always be around and when I try to pull up information about him, it glitches out. Like it's trying to add itself in."

I raised my eyebrows. If what Tom says is true, this could either be a system failure, or we might just have a spy.

"Thomas, what does he look like?"

He took a second to think. "He has blond hair and blue eyes. He's fairly tan but other than that, that's all I know."

I nodded. "Alright, so where is it that you normally see him?"

"Everywhere. Wherever there's something being done he's there. "

I sighed. I lifted my robotic arm in front of me and opened a small keypad. I typed in a few things and looked to Tom.

"Tom. Are you willing to get information on this guy? I'll inform Paul and Pat, but I want to be able to listen in, so I can active the listening software on your visors so that if something goes wrong I can send help. What do you say?"

He took a deep breath, and nodded.

I smiled. "Good to hear. Now, this is going to cause a high pitched sound for only a moment."

He nodded, I turned the listening software on and saw his face shift into one of discomfort. After a moment, he relax and looked at me.

"Be safe Tom. Once you're done, I'll take you out for a few drinks, hows that's sound?"

Tom grinned. "Sounds like a date."

We froze. We both took a second to proceed what he said, I had a tint of pink on my face while Tom was a full out tomato.

"I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT! JUSTLIKETWOFRIENDSBEKNGFRIENDSANS-"

"Too late! A date it is!"

"NO I DIDNT-"

"Nope! You already said it! Now get going, can't wait for our, date~"

Tom huffed and marched out the room. I couldn't help but laugh, he was too cute! I proceeded to contact Paul and Pat, then started to plan out my 'date' with Tom.

I don't care what he says, he has brought this upon himself.

Plus, maybe he'll want to do it again.

Hiii!

First of all, thank you all for getting me #3 on Tordtom! I seriously didn't see this coming!

Im so glad that you guys like my story and plan to improve on my writing to create other stories for you all to enjoy!

Secondly, unfortunately I will be starting school this week, and because I'm doing online school I'm not sure if my writing schedule will change.

You see, I normally start to write at 10 pm til 4am, and judging from past years with schooling, I might fall asleep before getting to write. All I can say for now is that chapters will possibly be a little delayed but can promise at the most one chapter a week!

I'm sure after the first few weeks I'll have a schedule figured out so that I can spend lots of my time writing!

Once again thank you so much for your support and am looking forward to continuing to write stories for you all to enjoy!

Byebye!
