"Is the stage set?" Asked Aden as he approached us calmly, dressed in his blackand white pinstripe suit.
"Yes," Isaac answered. "We will soon have the Seven in our possession. The son of Hades too."
"What about the other two?" I questioned.
"They aren't important. The Big Three children are all I care about. Dispose of the others."
I frowned. "And the League's pets?"
"Dispose of them too," Adon ordered.
"The Mistress won't like that. She enjoys messing with the League," Issac challenged.
"Screw that b*tch!" I interjected, though I didn't agree with Aden's order. "We don't take orders from her. As long as we do what our boss says, we're safe from her."
Issac shook his head. "I don't really think you can ever be safe from a creature like that. Does anyone even know what she can do?"
"I don't really care what she can do. Like he said, she can't touch us as long as we're useful to the boss. So, it's in your best interests to do as I f*cking say," Aden snarled.
"Whatever," I snapped. "Once we've finished here, I'm done with both of you."
"Fine with me."
"Me too."
I stormed off down the hall away from the entrance. I knew that the little brats would have no problem making it past the doors so I decided to wait behind them. I shoved through all the men blocking the door who all scoffed at me.
After making my way through the large set of windowless iron doors I paused. There was a slightly small iron door beside me, again windowless. I should've continued onwards, but curiosity got the better of me. I put my ear against the door and listened.
"...how could they just take a baby hostage?"
I immediately pulled away. What!? A baby!? Hostage!? I gagged on air. My hand flew to my mouth. I felt like throwing up. I wasn't sure about kidnapping teens in the first place, but babies!? That crossed a line didn't it? I knew my morals had always been a bit askew, but kids took it a bit too far. I thought about my own baby at home with the sitter and sighed.
I smacked myself in the face. I was gonna get killed for this...but whatever. I pulled the key out of my pocket and unlocked the door. I quickly scribbled some directions on a piece of paper and slid it through the crack before leaving. I had to get back to my post before anyone got suspicious.
I mentally wished the captives luck. They were going to need it.

The door creaked open suddenly and unexpectedly. A folded piece of paper tumbled through the crack in the door and then I heard footsteps hurry away.
I carefully let go of Artemis, after double checking she was balanced enough, and crawled over to retrieve the piece of paper. I unfolded it and read the contents.
Camera room = Right, Right, Left, Second Door.
You should be able to find the baby from there.
I'm sorry we did this to you but I won't let a baby come to harm.My eyes widened as I read the note. I hurried back over to Artemis who read it. She opened her mouth to speak, but no sound escaped. She huffed in frustration then pointed to the door and mimed us escaping by walking her fingers across her palm.
"You can't walk," I pointed out.
Artemis pointed to the word 'baby' on the note. I translated this as: do we have much of a choice? Estelle needs us and you're not leaving me here.
I sighed but reluctantly helped Artemis struggle to her feet. We found that she was okay to stand on her own but needed a human crutch to walk. We hobbled out of the room, turned right and headed down the hall. At the first intersection we turned right and the one after that: left. We passed one windowless door and stopped at the second one. I left Artemis so that I'd be able to fight anyone in the camera room.
I carefully pushed the door open and poked my head in. There was one guy at the desk, sleeping. But I ran inside and knocked him out with my fist for good measure. I went back into the hall and helped Artemis into the room. I sat her down in the chair after shoving he guard off of it.
Our eyes scanned the live footage. Each tiny screen showed one of several identical hallways, and no rooms. Most were empty, but a few had masses of men crowding the hallways pointing guns at large double doors. Probably waiting for the team, I thought. I glanced down at the buttons on the control panel. I noticed a switch with two sides respectively labelled R and H. The switch was flicked to H. I flicked the switch back and the screens flickered for a moment before revealing several empty cells, a couple of rooms that held chains and were covered in dark splattered stains, and some bunk houses. One room that caught my attention was an office type room with an overly large desk like the kind movie villains use. Sat at the desk was the evil French lady who had her eyes trained on a cot at the side of the room.
"Estelle," I breathed. "That's got to be her right?"
Artemis nodded, albeit hesitantly. She then pointed to the door and stood up slowly.
Assuming this action meant: let's go!, I helped her hobble to the exit. Not before analysing the map to that room and the exit and storing it in my memory banks. Left, left, right, left, right, right, door at the end of the corridor, I repeated to myself.
I wasn't too surprised that we didn't bump into any guards. They were all manning the exits, according to the footage. Though that decision seemed odd in my head. As well as the fact that someone let us out. Was it really because they suddenly found their conscience? Or was this all a trap?
I powered on anyway. If I dwelled on the fact that, Artemis was completely out of commission, or that we didn't stand much of a chance against this freaky woman, or that Percy was gonna kill me for letting something this bad happen to his sister...I was gonna lose my mind.
I had to focus. Focus on getting Estelle back and getting her and Artemis the f*ck out of there.
No matter the cost.
