Logan, very gracefully, flopped onto his bed. He vaguely wondered how he would eat and drink. Although sides could not actually die, by lack of eating at least, their body would suffer the same negative consequences as a normal human body. Logan grimaced. His body especially would suffer these effects due to him representing logic and being the overall most realistic of the group. He had discovered this a couple years back when he had wanted to test this exact hypothesis. He had hoped it would not have any less than ideal side effects but after one week of not eating he'd observed an increased feeling of hunger for the first two days and then, although he stopped feeling hungry after those days, he did find that he felt much more weak, in addition to being lightheaded and dizzy during the one week. As such, the hypothesis did not, sadly, hold true. Rest assured Logan drank plenty of oxygen molecules polar covalently bonded to two hydrogen atoms and then hydrogen bonded to each other, or simply known as water, during this time. Logan of course still remembered the Rule of Three from Thomas' freshman year of high school biology class. A typical human can last three minutes without oxygen, three days without water, and three weeks without food. Logan wondered if the twins would still have these pesky side effects. It was a moot point because both the twins loved to eat their cuisine. Remus was actually a superb chef himself, despite Thomas not being able to cook to save his life, but Remus had begged him to not reveal that information to the others and Logan had obliged. He may be cold and apathetic in the others' eyes but he was not a jerk for no reason. Apparently Remus thought that cooking was too 'nice' to be a skill set of Intrusive Thoughts, Logan had reminded Remus that he was also creativity but Remus just looked away. Logan wondered if there was a correlation between Thomas' repression of Remus and Thomas not being able to cook. An interesting hypothesis for another day he strictly told himself, he was getting side tracked. Logan knew that just pouring water over his mouth would not 'do the trick' as they say because the stitches seemed to be one hundred percent airtight. Basic physics showed that if something is one hundred percent airtight it is also one hundred percent watertight. Although, he conceived, under certain circumstances the airtight container could break if the water pressure was too high, Logan had no intent to break his face. The only logical conclusion, if Logan wanted to receive nutrients, was to undergo total nutrient admixture or TNA. In the medical field, TNA is the process of being given all macronutrients, vitamins, trace elements, and sterile water through an IV solution. However, an IV Infusion pump and the needed solution was far past the realm of things Logan could materialize, he would need one of the twins for that, and no way in the name of Marie Curie was Logan going to ask anybody for assistance. This was his problem and his problem alone. Thomas' opinion was not the only one taken into account when the mindscape had shut him up. The other sides, how many and who are unclear, played a part as well. He wasn't about to ask his unknowing culprits for assistance. He'd figure it out alone, like he'd always done. It would be fine. It had to be fine. As much as Thomas and the rest may dislike him, he was a needed part of Thomas. Day one without food or drink, he had at least forty eights hours until his body would almost completely shut down. He needed to get some work done in the meantime, Thomas' productivity was much more important than his own problems. Hopefully, a solution to this predicament would arise tomorrow.
