Screaming. Fire, Flames Dance around me, licking off my clothes and Flesh. Everything is so hot. I try to look out for someone or something, just anything would be just fine. But there is nothing and no one.
I'm alone again.
The flames rise higher and higher making any way of escape impossible. The smell of burned wood and flesh rises up my nose making me even impossibly dizzier. I finally fall to my knees ready to give up the pointless fight. Something in front of me appears and the flames around us get smaller. This man or the Shadow he now is makes the flames quiet and his coldness sucks the air away from them. A black aura lays around him like a thunderstorm he crashes into the ocean of fire I'm in, and calms it. The only feature noticeable are his Dashing Blue eyes which manage too take away all the pain that ruled over my consciousness just seconds ago.

I rip my eyes open drenched in sweat.
I don't care about the throbbing pain in my chest as I sit up straight still panting.
I regret it quickly though as I look down at my bloody clothes remembering what happened. I was feeling tired and thirsty but I was too scared to even think about going to sleep again. As I look around I realise that I don't recognise the room. I slowly move my feet out of bed and stand up holding my aching chest. I feel dizzy as I make my way out of the small cottage. I remember almost nothing apart from the deer I accidentally healed. I never knew that I had the power to safe something out of the claws of death. If something like this was possible what else was I capable of?

As I make myself out of the cottage and through the high grass I find a small river. I wasn't scared that the brothers left me out here since all their belongings still were in the cottage itself. they were probably hunting I thought to myself. I slowly stumble to the river not bothering the cold clinging onto my skin. As I sit down I slowly start to open my dirty robe revealing an open and obviously infected wound. Why would they leave me with my wounds untreated? I mean I'm just a slave to them but others would have already died because of it.

I hold my shaking hand above the moving water surface concentrating on every single drop. I could tell that my powers were incredibly weak probably due to my wound. I still manage to control a small bubble of water with my hand and let it glide over my wound. I concentrate on the destroyed flesh and send energy to it like I did with the deer. I'm in my own meditative state for what seems like hours. as I move the bubble away from me the water now has a dark red tint while the wound looks way better, the dried blood around it has now completely disappeared.

I quickly dress myself again slowly making my way to the cottage. The pain is unchanged but at least its healing better.

From afar I can already tell that the brothers are back. The sit outside while Sigurd and Hvitserk are skinning a few rabbits.
I grab a big stick that lays in the high grass to steady myself and slowly make my way to them.

"Hella!" Bjorn calls out for me and I just nod.
He walks over to help me and holds my arm as I slowly sit down beside the fire. I look between the brothers catching the blue eyes of Ivar lighting up for only a second before he concentrates on his cup again grinning a bit.

"Why are you already on you feet again?" Bjorn asks as he sits down beside me.

"Laziness is deadly Bjorn." I mumble as Ubbe hands me a cup. It's an uncomfortable silence between all of us, like we should pretend nothing happened.

"You have a hole in your chest and you worry about being lazy?" he asks bickering.
I give him a sly smile holding the cup of ale while warming myself by the fire.

"Did you at least get the animal?" I ask taking a sip, the sweet taste tingling on my tongue.

"Ivar insisted that we take it with us." Ubbe says turning the meat over the flickering flame. Not really paying attention I stare into the flame, reminding me of the dream I had. I look through it seeing Ivars blue eyes staring through me. I shake my head not wanting to wake his fury by any chance. Even sitting here is reason enough to punish me.

"He also let you bleed to death, well almost." Hvisterk interrupts the so lovely silence. I mean to say I was surprised was too much. But bleeding me to death was still a bit even for him.

"I let you heal alone. Wanted to proof that you're a descended from the gods. And as we can see you're still here."

"You risked my life to prove your theory about me?" I asked unconsciously raising my voice, instantly regretting it as I see his eyebrows raising.

"Don't be fooled in thinking your life has any mean to me. But whoever gave you these powers can give us the power we need."
He spits looking at me despiteful.

"So you need powers to do what exactly?"

"We've got the news about many lies our father has told us. Who knows what is coming for us but I bet it won't be any good." Bjorn says leaning his elbows on his knees looking over to me.

"Do you have anything of your father?" I ask putting my cup down. Let's just hope it works.

"I still have this small knife... why are you asking?" Sigurd says handing me the small knife with a elegant handle like you see them in England.

I hold it tightly closing my eyes to concentrate. The smell of blood rises up my nose. Slithering, snakes, death, war. Blue blood is poured just as much as the blood of innocent. Suddenly the battlefield the floor is covered in intestines and mud. With every step I sink deeper and out of nowhere a tall man appears. Taller than the brothers, taller than had ever seen someone.
He turns around smirking at me as he strides proud his broad shoulders shaking in amusement. Its Ivar. But it cant be right? I mean this man can walk which is clearly not the case with the real one.

"We did it my love." he mumbles as he comes closer not leaving any space to run. Why was he calling me love?

"We did what?" I ask scared of all of this. There are only a few Vikings left on the battlefield which loot the the defeated, the English.

"We're finally King and Queen my heart. Not just of the Vikings now we even have the English and soon the whole world." he whispers in my ear as his fingers lift my chin to look at me. I stare at him in shock shaking head disbelieving in all of this.

"That's not what I want Ivar. I want to leave."
I mumble moving from his grip.

"Silly woman." he laughs sneaking his arm around me as his hand draws slow circles over my suddenly swollen belly.
"My son is already making you crazy."
he laughs. I shove him trying to get away when I'm suddenly somewhere new. There are people gathered around a hole in the ground but when I try to walk nearer Queen Aslaug comes towards me grabbing me by the shoulders. She whispers something in my ear when I become conscious again seeing the worried eyes of the brothers.

"Ragnar is coming." I whisper out of breath.
