"Look, I get you're stressed but you have to channel that elsewhere. Not direct it towards the rest of us." I hissed once I had moved us to a secluded corner. The anger seething out of me now that we were alone.

"You don't get to be a bigger asshole because you can't control your emotions!"

"Why the hell are you yelling at me!" Bellamy shot back.

"Because you're being a dick! You need to shape up, or I'm putting you on gutting duty with Murphy." I shoved a finger in his chest. "You may be the heart, but you also have a brain. Use it. Scaring people into doing what you want doesn't work half as well if you get them to believe that what they want is what you want. You have to inspire and encourage, not frighten or yell at them." I was still angry. But I had dropped to a quieter octave.

"Why are you angry at me?" I rolled my eyes stepping back from him.

"You want me to list all of the reasons?" He nodded.

"Too bad, now go see if Myles needs anything. I'm going to go finish the walkie in Raven's tent." I didn't let him respond as I walked away. Listing the reasons in my head, two standing out amongst them making me yell at myself internally.

"Oh!" I turned around, still walking, "I'm going to look for Clarke, Finn, and Monty tomorrow morning. And the only way you're going to stop me is by killing me." I resumed my forward approach on the tent. Raven had been in the process of finishing a fourth walkie when Bellamy insisted they get the landmines out.

I had just connected the final wire according to Raven's instructions and went to talk into it when a voice filled the air.

"You know what'll happen to me if you tell Bellamy." That was Murphy.

"Tell Bellamy what?" Well my walkie is working. I grabbed my walkie and ran out of Raven's tent to try and find Bellamy.

"Give me the radio, Jasper." Murphy and Jasper were in the same place. But Bellamy wasn't with them. I sent Bellamy to look for Myles, so that's where I went. Towards the dropship. There was a long pause of silence. The silence making me take off to a run to get to the dropship.

"Murphy has a gun he killed Myle-"

"Shut up!" Then a loud crash followed. They were in the dropship.

"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" I got to the dropship and saw Bellamy jogging towards it.

"Persphyni, wait!" I hesitated, and that's all it took for my opportunity to go away. The dropship door was closing. I could make it. I glanced behind me and saw Bellamy shake his head but I didn't listen.

I ran to the slowly closing door, sprinting and pushing off the dirt. I grabbed the slowly closing top and started to lift myself in as the ramp had closed faster than I expected. I got a leg up and over and was about to roll down when hands grabbed my hips and pulled me back.

I had lost my grip on the ramp as it got higher, the hands on my hips tugged me loose as I was pulled back and landed on the person. When we stood up I turned around and saw it was Bellamy.

"Are you kidding! I was going in!" I yelled enraged. I was probably the only one who could talk Murphy out of it, he wanted revenge. It was clear to see. He had the same look in his eyes that I had when I killed the Shadow.

"You were going to get crushed!"

"Really! That's your excuse!" I scoffed and grabbed my walkie where it was resting on my waistband.

"Murphy! Murphy! Open the damn door!" Bellamy yelled as I held the walkie up to my mouth.

"You try to be a hero, Jasper dies."

"Hey, Murph." I paused releasing the button. "It's Persphyni. But you already knew that. You don't have to respond. Just listen to me, please." I kept my voice smooth as I glared daggers at Bellamy. I took my hand of the button and moved the walkie away.

"This would have been so much easier if you let me in there. Vlákas!" I brought the walkie back to my mouth.

"Murphy, you don't want to do this. Trust me. You kill Jasper and that's an innocent life you just took away. And it will haunt you forever. I would know." I pulled my hand from the button, looking at the door as if I could see Murphy. "If you just open the door, we can move on. I won't promise that you'll be forgiven. But we can make up for our wrongs. Together." I heard static from the other end. He had his walkie on.

"Murph?"

"I can't." He seemed conflicted and I could hear the waver in his voice.

"Yes, you can. It's more difficult to take the hard path, the hard choice, but the right one. You got hurt because of a wrong choice. Don't hurt Jasper because of one too." More static.

"Persphyni, I'm not like you." I nodded laughing slightly.

"I know, you aren't a trained assassin. You're just stubborn and human, a human who has been dealt pain instead of aces. That's where we are the same. Red blood runs through our veins, John. Red blood that can't be spilt tonight. So Murphy, I'm going to ask one more time. Please, open the dropship and we will figure this out. You and me. Bellamy can't touch you if you come under my protection." I turned around walkie still on, "no one can."

It was quiet on the other line. Murphy didn't respond, but I could tell he was debating.

"Murphy!" I looked at Bellamy. "Let-" I smacked the walkie from Bellamy's hand.

"I'm sorry, Persphyni. Bellamy, you try to be a hero, and a bullet goes through Jasper's head!" And then the walkie cut out.

"Great going idiot! I fucking had it covered. Just go sleep in your tent. But take someone besides Raven. I need her." I stepped away from a fuming Bellamy and addressed the crowd.

"Everyone get back to work, we have landmines to plant. And someone find me Raven! I need help with my walkie." I made sure to say the last sentence loud enough for Murphy to hear and not think otherwise for me to get Raven.

When Raven jogged up to me and Bellamy, who hadn't moved yet, I motioned for us to go over to a tree away from the dropship.

"Raven, I need you to find me a way to lower the door. Bellamy, since you flat out ignored me, you're going to distract him. I'll look for a second way to get in." My eyes went up to the roof.

"Raven. I'm going to need a screwdriver."
