Few Days Later
                          
 Genesis
                          
i woke up , knowing today was the day. The day i bury my sister. I sighed hard and long , staring up at the ceiling not even wanting to get up. I heard a faint knock on the door.
                          
"Come in.." i said low. The door opened with King in the doorway.
                          
"Hey.." he said , sitting beside me on the bed.
                          
"Hey.." i said back , still eye locked on the ceiling.
                          
"C'mon ma , you'on wanna be late.." he said low. I shut my eyes tightly , letting it sink in as if it haven't sunk enough for the past few days.
                          
"Ok.." i said low back with a slight frown. I flung the cover off, grabbing his hand as he helped me up. He kissed my jaw before leaving off to Kassidy's room as i started the shower.

I was bumping my hair with the flat iron when Kassidy came walking in my bathroom.
                          
"Hey Gene.." she said happily making me smile.
                          
"Hey.. i love your dress , you look so pretty." i said putting the flat iron down , kneeling down towards her. She cheesed as she leaned on me with her hands on my knees.
                          
"Thank you , you look pretty too. You always look pretty." She said in that sweet young voice. I grinned , tucking some hair behind her ear with a 'thank you'.

                          
"Kassidy!" i heard King start to yell out. We look towards the door as he slightly opened it.
                          
"Kas get outta hea' and let Genesis get ready." he said waving over his shoulder.
                          
"Ok.." she said , skipping out.
                          
"Sorry." he said , i shook my head.
                          
"She was fine King.." i said .
                          
"Just makin' sho'." he said before he closed the door behind him. I turned back around , finished my hair then applied some makeup. I walked out to my room as i saw my purse and Gina's photo album on the dresser. I battered my eyes from any sudden tears before i decided to just put my hands together and bow my head.


                          
"Father..i know i probably dont come to you as much as i should and i know i have done and said some sinful things in the past but i pray that you forgive me and help me through today because gosh..imma need it. In Jesus name , Amen." i finished off my prayer as my voice started cracking . I put my head in my hands crying softly as arms wrapped around me. I looked up at King as he pecked my lips .

                          
"Its gonna be okay , we here fa you baby guh' and so is God.." He whispered giving me a heartfelt hug , rubbing my back. I admit , that prayer and what he doing right now really made me feel a lot better . This moment could never forgotten or replaced. I weakly smiled as i pecked his lips a few times.

                          
"Ready?" i nodded as he grabbed my hand and i got my purse as we walked out the room.
                          
"Here yo go Gene.." Kas said handing me a folded paper. I let King hand go as i opened it seeing a stick people picture of us 3 and the word 'smile' at the end making me do that.

                          
"Aww thank u Kas.. you always make me feel better." i said giving her a hug as her arms was wrapped around my legs.
                          
"You're welcome. Daddy helped me spell smile." she said with a wide grin. He smirked , dusting off his shoulders. I chuckled.
                          
"I love how yall making me feel good on such a sad day." i said , he nodded.
                          
"Of course.." Soon we all was in the truck , on the way to the memorial service.

"and she was.." i paused as my tears begin to water for the a millionth time. "Im sorry , its just...i don had to do this too many times." i said putting my head in my hands . I felt King pull me from the podium , sitting me down but i didn't feel him sit next to me.
                          
"Umm hi.." i wiped my face and tugged my dress down a bit before looking at King on the podium. What is he doing?

                          
"Sorry Genesis couldn't finish but its real hard for her and i understand that..well i never lost a sister since im the only child but anyways..uh someone real close like Gina was to her. Seems like they had a good relationship and its bad it had to end this way. I know all of you of her family , friends and even her two badas- i mean 2 kids , jason and jasmine will miss her. I didn't really get to know her but i could tell she was a real good vibed person to be around. So my condolences to all of you and yeah..im done." He said , it was still quiet and low sniffles as he came and sat beside me with a deep breath. I looked over at him as he looked back with a slight smile. I bit the inside of my cheeks before giving him a kiss.


                          
"Thank you so much.." i whispered as he only nodded.
                          
After awhile , the service itself was over and we was heading to the burial site. As King carried Kas and she talked his ear off as we headed to the front of the building to the exit. Just as i swung the door open , i came face to face with....Kevin?
