CHAPTER 56

                                    

                                          
When I reached home, I saw Eleanor, Daniel and Bella waiting inside.

                          
"Hello Alice, hope you don't mind we waited inside" said Eleanor.
                          
"No, that's not a problem" I said, leading them to the table so that they could sit.
                          
"Alice, you did hear about Snape becoming headmaster?" Dan asked.
                          
For muggles, they surprising knew a lot about the Wizarding World.
                          
"Yes I did"
                          
"Well, they don't allow muggle borns in Hogwarts anymore. Since Dan and I are muggles, Bella will be considered a muggle born" said Eleanor.
                          
"So Bella can't go back to Hogwarts?" I asked.
                          
"No, but she can't live with us either because they might come and search our house and take her away" said Eleanor.
                          
"Which is why I suggested that I can stay with you" said Bella, looking at me hopefully.
                          
"I wasn't too sure about it in the beginning, but you're her older sister. I think you'll be able to take care of her very well" said Dan.
                          
"I would love to live with you Bella, and to get to know you as my sister of course" I smiled at her.
                          
"Well then it's settled, she's going to move in today, if that's fine with you Alice?" asked Eleanor.
                          
"Perfect, she can live in my mum's room" I said, leading them to her room.
                          
"I can't thank you enough" said Eleanor.
                          
"Don't thank me, she's my sister" I said.
                          
After exchanging goodbyes, Eleanor and Daniel left in their car, leaving me and Bella alone.
                          
"Well that was like a huge bomb dropped on us wasn't it?" said Bella, sitting on the bed.
                          
"Yea, I mean we're sisters! How crazy is that?" I said, still letting it sink in.
                          
"I think it's crazy amazing. Too bad you're going to have to deal with me for a long long time now"
                          
"Oh I don't mind, but won't you miss Hogwarts?" I asked.
                          
"Of course I will, I was really looking forward to studying there but some things just don't work out" she shrugged.
                          
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
                          
Who could that be? I asked Bella to wait as I went to open the door.
                          
"Amelie?"
                          
"Alice! Fucking hell it has been way too long" Amelie yelled, throwing her arms around me.
                          
"Amelie what are you doing here?" I said, hugging her back.
                          
"Well when you wrote to me a week ago telling me how much you missed me, I just had to come! There's so much we need to catch up on"
                          
"Alice, who is it?" Bella said from behind me.
                          
"Hi, I'm Amelie, are you Alice's friend?" Amelie asked Bella.
                          
"No, I'm her sister" said Bella.
                          
"What?" her mouth fell open.
                          
"Amelie, why don't you come inside. There is SO much I have to tell you" I said.
                          
The three of us sat on the couch, Amelie took in her surroundings.
                          
"Spill" she said.
                          
"Where do I even start?" I sighed.
                          
"How about after I left from Hogwarts, when the tri-wizard championship got over?"
                          
Wow, that seemed like ages ago.
                          
I told her how Fred and I got together that year.

                          
"Oh my god I always knew you two would get together"
                          
"Yea well we broke up after that because this absolute bitch kissed him after which Fred and George left Hogwarts. I also met Bella around that time, we didn't know we were sisters then"
                          
I explained to her how we found out we were sisters which left Amelie in shock.
                          
And then, finally, I told her about Voldemort's mission for Draco and I. Even Bella didn't know about it. I showed them the dark mark and then told them about my fake name and everything else.
                          
"When did you turn into James Bond?" Amelie said, laughing along with Bella.
                          
"Who?" I asked, confused.
                          
"Ugh, non-muggles" scoffed Bella.
                          
"So are you and Fred back together now?" asked Amelie.
                          
"Yea, and it's going really well" I blushed.
                          
"Awww" gushed Amelie and Bella.
                          
"Have you guys done it yet?" Amelie asked shamelessly.
                          
"Amelie!" I cried, glancing at Bella.
                          
"I'm thirteen, I'm not stupid" Bella smirked.
                          
"Well no we haven't, but moving on please" this was the last thing I wanted to talk about at the moment.
                          
"Well I'm dating this girl, her name is Celia" said Amelie.
                          
"What about Ella?"
                          
"We broke it off, it wasn't very serious anyway" 
                          
Amelie, Bella and I stayed up late, talking about anything and everything. I loved having someone to talk to in my village, I was getting sick of conversing with Madame Evanora all the time.
                          
"I think we should go to bed, we have a long day in front of us tomorrow" yawned Amelie.
                          
"What long day?" I asked.
                          
"Bella and I are going to take you and Fred muggle store shopping" grinned Amelie.
                          
"Muggle stores are boring" I rolled my eyes.
                          
"No they're not, besides I already told Fred to find someone else to replace him in that joke shop of his for tomorrow. I forced him to come and now I'm going to force you too. Besides, according to what you've told me, I don't think Fred knows that Bella's your sister so it's the perfect opportunity"
                          
"Wow you're pretty fast when it comes to these things"
                          
"I'm Amelie Lume" she scoffed.
