We continue to eat. Eddie jokes around with Bill. "Richie? Are you okay?" "Yes, Haystack...I'm fine." He shakes his head. "No...what's wrong?" "I don't know. Really. I don't." "Okay...talk to me whenever you need to." I nod.

Small one

S: I'm bored
T: so am I.
S: I really like this guy. I'm not sure how to tell him
T: me neither. MAYBE if we meet up. Then we can tell the guys.
S: maybe
T: WAIT PLEASE?!
S: no ttyl
T: fine. Ttyl :)

T: my heart 🥺🥴
S: 🙄

The waiter brings out the food. Eddie sits beside me, Ben on the other side. "So Richie. Tell us about Dj." Mike teases. "Aight bet. He's really nice. Very fun to hang out with. When he laughs he scrunches his nose up." Everyone chuckles.

"Eddie looks jealous." He glares at Stanley. "Am not. I'm just tired." Eddie straightens his already straight posture.

"Eddie you clench your teeth when you lie," Mike mumbles. "Do not." He clenches his jaw once more. We all laugh very hard.

He slouches in his seat. "Ignore them," I whisper, putting my arm behind him. "Why does it matter since I'm jealous?" We all stare at him, my face turns red as his stays at a confused state. "What did I say?! Wait what did I say?"

My arm retreats from its spot. I feel like I'm shrinking as my face burns a bright red. "Shit Eddie. I didn't know you felt that way..." "Fuck....I uh....I'll be right back." Beverly lets him out of the booth. She stands there.

"You know you need to go talk to him." I sigh, taking a couple of fries in hand.

*Third person omniscient*
Walking out Richie looks around for the boy. The light post is the only thing that lights up the street.

"Eddie? Where are you? I wanna talk." He whispers worry fills his body. His own breathing becomes rapid. He takes a second to listen. Heavy breathing catches his attention.

"Eddie?" A small whimper fills his body with sadness. Finding the boy sitting in an alleyway.

"Eddie...I wanna talk..." the smaller one nods. Richie slides down the wall, sitting beside him. "Fry?" "Sure." He whispers, taking a fry from the boy's hand.

"I'm sorry...I should've shut my mouth." "There's nothing to be sorry about...you like me. That's okay." "It's weird now." "We almost hooked up the first time we met. Nothing's gonna be awkward."

Eddie could feel tingles where the boy kissed him.

His lips

His jawline.

Down his neck.

His chest

His thighs.

Fuck. He wants to feel that again.
