"You don't like who?" I ask.

"Anton." He crosses his arms over his chest making me do the same.

"Why not?" I ask.

"He just doesn't appeal to me. He seems like a bad guy and I don't know if I like you going out with him." He explains.

"Well I guess that's just too bad because I like Anton and I'm sure everyone else likes him too." I just looking up at him and he just shakes his head at me.

"I'm just trying to look out for you Magda, I just want to make sure my best friend is safe and that she's not going to get hurt. I don't think I want ou to go out with him anymore." Erik looks down at me and I look away from his big eyes.

"I'm fine Erik. Nothing bad is going to happen to me." That's the last I say before leaving the disabled toilet and back out into my party.

Who does Erik think he is telling me who's good for me and who isn't?

My best friend?

No my best friend would accept if I liked someone.

I wouldn't do that to him.

I didn't do that to him.

I didn't like Alix and still I let him date her even though I knew it would have gone bad.

But I still accepted that he liked her and didn't say anything about it.

"Babe, are you okay?" Anton asks as I sit back down. I just repsond by smiling wide, nodding my head and then leaning against his shoulder and listen to Marco talk about something that happened during the Champions League last season.

The night goes on well after that, until Cathy and I go to the toilet.

"So you and Anton..." She looks at me through the mirror.

"Yeah?"

"Do you like him?" She asks.

"Yeah, I really like him." I answer, but she just responds with a small smile. "Why, what's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing, it's just he doesn't seem to be anything that I think you'd go for." She explains but I'm still confused.

"What do you mean?" I ask and she then turns to face me.

"I mean, I just thought you'd go for the kinda guy that is more shy and down to earth."

"What?"

"Anton has spoken about himself this entire time, only letting us speak for like a few minutes until it goes back to him talking." Cathy look over at me as I start to think about tonight.

"Are you sure?" I ask, because all I can reember is Anton talking for a little bit.

"Very, you probably don't realise it because you really like him and stuff like this but we all noticed it."

I take in her words and just nod.

"Well, it's just his personality." I say quietly.

"I'm sorry Magdalena, I just wanted you to know." She gives me a hug and I nod before sh eleave the toilet and I fix myself before going back out.

When I go back out to the party the room is dark and everyone is clapping. I look to the middle of the floor where Erik, my mum and dad are holding a big cake with the cover of my book on it.

I gasp as I walk towards them in the middle of the dance floor.

"We all just wanted to congratulate you on getting your first book published." My mom explains making me smile wide and feel tears come to my eyes.

"Thank you so much." I say and give my mom and dad a hug and then give Erik a hug.

"You've done so well Magda, I'm so proud of you." He whispers in my ear making me smile wide.

"Who want's cake?" My dad shouts so everyone cheers.

"Hi Magdalena." I hear a few people say behind me so I turn around and look at Thomas, Lukas and Bastian all smiling wide at me.

"Hi guys, are you going for cake?" I ask and they all nod.

"Why would we miss out on a chance to get cake?" Lukas asks and wraps his arms around y shoulder making me laugh.

"I wouldn't either." I smile and then Thomas and Bastian and Lukas and look at here other and then they all look down at me with massive grins.

"So what's going on with you and Erik." They ask at the same time making me look down at the ground shaking my head.

"Nothing is going on with Erik and I. He's my best friend." I answer.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what they all say. I give it a year before you and Erik get together." Lukas says.

"No, I give it half a year." Bastian puts in.

"Well I give it three months before they get together." Thomas says confidently making Lukas and Bastian gasp.

"That's ambitious." Bastian mutters.

"I know love when I see it." Thomas crosses his arms and smiles smugly.

"Well you guys are all wrong, because I have a boyfriend."

"That'll never last." Lukas scoffs making me laugh.

"You sound like mom." I groan and they all chuckle loudly.

"Well, we'll leave you to go to your boyfriend." Lukas said and then they all give me a hug and leave to go get some cake.

"Hi babe." Anton says as I sit down next to him. He places his arm over my shoulder and presses a kiss to my cheek.

"Hi, are you having fun?" I ask and look up at him.

"Yeah, all your friends are really nice." He smiles wide making me smile too.

He's just too cute.

"Are you having fun?" He asks.

"Yes," I nod, "I feel awfuly emotional about it all." I laugh and he smiles down at me.

"Well that's good. How is your book doing in the charts?" He asks.

"It's number one." I squeal making Anton smile wide.

"How are the reviews?"

"They're great, everythings been good. Only one or two bad reviews." I smile and he smiles back.

The rest of the night goes by fast. Erik offers to take me home but Anton already did as well. So I go home with Anton and finally arrive in my house after like a ten minutes make out session in Anton's car.

"Did you have fun tonight Magdie?" My mum asks, slurring her words just slightly as she had been drinking tonight.

"I had so much fun tonight. it was great having all my friends and family to celebrate with me." I smile wide and cuddle up with my mom on the couch until I fall asleep.
