"Stan, does this look good?"
Another nod. A confirmation that what he was saying was true. Stanley was bored out of his mind but he would do anything to make you happy.
After receiving a few mindless answers from your boyfriend, you started to notice his glazed eyes and lazed posture. Maybe you should feel bad for dragging your boyfriend to do something he wasn't really interested in but you felt more amused than anything.
You knew his sense of style was... well, it was something. Stanley's closet consisted of mostly button-ups. He was used to wearing more formal clothes so you took his obliviousness as an advantage to put your own spin on his clothes.
While your boyfriend was lost in space, you grabbed a few hoodies and some silly Hawaiian shirts that you swear you've seen Richie wear before. You asked Stanley if he liked it after every piece of clothing item you grabbed. Of course, he said yes.
He was so clueless that it was kind of funny. Once you two got out of the store, you shot Stanley a wide grin. He squinted his eyes at you as he took the bag of clothes out of your hand.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I don't know, just didn't think you liked that sort of clothing," You shrugged, unable to keep the smile off your face.
His face started to pale at what you said. Stanley wasn't even paying attention. What were you showing him? "Uh, what sort of clothing?"
You tilted your head playfully, knocking him in the arm with your shoulder. "I didn't think Hawaiian shirts were your thing, y'know?"
You started to giggle as Stanley's eyes went wide. He quickly opened the bag of clothes, sifting through them until he realized that most of them weren't even your size. Were you shopping for him?
"Wait," Stanley paused, eyes not leaving the bag, "What are these?"
"Your new clothes!" You laughed, "Next time you should realize what you're saying yes to."
