Chapter Two: A Shoulder to Cry On

Point of View: Felix

"... Felix... I'm terribly sorry."

Beep.

Felix replayed the message once more, listening to the true sympathy in Cry's words.

Clicking over to Cry's contact, he pressed 'Call' and leaned closer to the screen. Suddenly remembering how awful he must look, Felix patted down his hair and wiped away the few remaining tears.

But wait... This was Cry. Why would it matter what he looked like to... A friend?

"Um... Friend?"

Felix's attention was called back to the screen. A white poker-faced mask now filled it entirely, except for the top left corner where his own face stared back at him.

"Cry, hello! So I guess you heard about what happened to Elsa." (Reading over this and watching Frozen ( ̄▽ ̄) I'm sorry I'm a hopeless dork.)

(Why am I watching Frozen, you ask? I'M ON A PLANE, OKAY THERE IS LIMITED ENTERTAINMENT SELECTION please don't judge me)

Felix couldn't see his face due to the mask, but Cry's posture slumped slightly.

"Yes, friend, and I meant what I said. Pewds - or rather, Felix -"

"No, no, Pewds is fine," Felix said, laughing for the first time since discovering the news about his sister.

Cry's posture straightened and Felix imagined a smile on his face. "Pewds, then - Look, I know you have Marzia, but if you ever need a friend, I want you to know that I'll be here for you."

"Yeah... About Marzia... We, um, broke it off. She pissed me off by insisting that we celebrate our anniversary on tonight of all nights - oh yeah, and there was the part when she didn't even tell me about the death of my sister because she didn't want to 'disturb the peace' or some shit like that," he explained.

"Felix, that's terrible... Hey, I know! I'm sure your place is packed with memories of - you know - so why don't you come and stay with me? It'll be fun!" Cry exclaimed.

Felix lit up. "Really? Can I?"

"Of course."

The two sat in content silence for a few moments.

"Hey, I'll send you the tickets to America. I've got a guest bedroom, it'll be perfect!"

"Cry..." Felix paused. There was only one thing wrong with this 'perfect' situation. Ever since they met, he had felt something special for Cry, something more than friendly. Would living with him expose these unknown, hidden feelings? What would the bros think? What would Marzia think?

That was when his resolve hardened. Screw Marzia. And if his fans had a problem with it, they could bring it up with Felix himself, see if he cared.

Anyway, the whole 'feelings' perception was probably just a load of crap. He didn't want to be anything but friends with Cry. Anything more would be wrong. It would mean he was gay.

"No... Fabulous," Felix whispered, a small smile creeping onto his face.

"Pewds? What was that?"

Felix looked up and stared into Cry's black, porcelain eyes.

"I said I can't wait."

- 9 1/2 Hours Later -

Felix parked himself on Cry's plush orange couch, sinking into the cushion. Rubbing his forehead, he tried to ignore the taunting jetlag that was causing his headaches and nausea.
