"Professor? Professor Snape?" asked a young Gryffindor girl, waving and stretching her hand so that she was almost touching the ceiling. "I don't really understand. In the book, I mean, why did the knight let the dragon get away. Why didn't he just kill him?" Casandra turned around from the blackboard, facing the first year. "Hermione" smiled Casandra "Most of the times, there's another option than just killing. He knew that it wasn't necessary"
Shortly before lunch, Casandra made her way to Madam Pomfrey's office and knocked on the door. "Poppy, hello! I wanted to pick someone up" said Casandra with a smile on her face, looking at a little girl in the back of the room. "Mummy! Mummy!" cried the little girl, rushing upon Casandra who had her arms outstretched. "Hello my love" said Casandra, kissing her daughter on the forehead. "Have you been a good girl today?" "Oh yes, although she had a little tantrum because she didn't want to take a nap" stated Madam Pomfrey with a smile on her face, stroking the child's cheek. "Oh did we? Now, now! Audrey Eileen Snape, what did I tell you? Always be nice to Aunt Poppy" taunted Casandra cheerfully. "Thank you Poppy though" said Casandra thankfully and turned to her daughter. "Say bye to Aunt Poppy, we're going to pick up daddy now" smiled Casandra, making her way out.
Snape had just ended his lesson and several students were storming out of the classroom but stopped dead as they saw Casandra with her daughter on her arm. "Awww look who's there! Hello Audrey!" cried Hermione, making her way to Casandra. Audrey started laughing and waved at Hermione, Harry and Ron who were following Hermione. "Alright, enough for now. We'll see you later. We gotta say hello to daddy now" said Casandra cheerfully and went inside the classroom. She let Audrey down who directly ran to the front, crying "Daddy! Daddy! We're here to pick you up" Snape turned around with a big smile on his face. He got on his knees, opening his arms to pick up his daughter. "Hello my lovelies" he said, making his way to Casandra and kissed her gently. "Shall we?" asked Casandra joyfully. "I would go anywhere with you" smiled Snape "For ever and always"
