DOROTHY LAYS ON HER BED JUST STARING AT THE CEILING. Lost in painted white ceiling. Ricky on the other hand, stands in her room as the tone, "I don't know who would be here, bet I guess leave a messege. See ya!"

He slowly paces across the bedroom floor. "Uhh... Hey D. I didn't get to see you after the show, but... thanks for the flowers." he sighs, "I'm so sorry.  I just. I've been lying for a while now. And I don't want to drag you on like that. I really think somewhere in me I love you."

It was a voicemail she never heard because she was too busy watching the ceiling. Memories replay in her head.

" the world felt like it was
drowning in cement.
slowly moving. very slowly.
that's the thing about love.
at least for me.
it's a slow burn to and from.
very slow. "

DOROTHY WAS BROKEN, BADLY, AND SHE SITS ALONE IN THE LIBRARY. Although it's been months since she's really spent time alone reading in the library, she felt at home. She wasn't crying, but she wasn't missing him. All that was in her head was Ron Weasley rummaging through food on the platform.

"Hey," it was a new voice. She looks up from her book. "You're a potterhead I'm guessing." The boys smiles. Dorothy doesn't say anything because she's scared of talking to people she doesn't know. "I'm so sorry, I just— I'm new and I thought I would make a friend, but I'm sorry if I interrupted— I know how valuable my reading time is.." he stutters.

"It's fine." She smiles. She scoots to the side of the couch, "here you could sit." The boy sighs of relief as he sits next to her, "I'm Dorothy, hufflepuff."

"Timothée, proud hufflepuff." his smile was soft and wholesome. "I just finished rereading the seventh."

"I just started rereading," he smiles and slips the book into her backpack. "Favorite book, go!"

"Chamber of Secrects!" the two whisper scream in unison.

"Hey, where's your next class? I could show you where it is." she offers standing up and swinging her bag onto her back.

"Room A120,"

"Film Analysis?" She smiles waving her pointer finger.

"Yeah, I was hesitant to take it here because I didn't want to seem like a nerd."

"No, I love the class. I have it first period too. I don't think you're a nerd" He smiles and stands up too, "first I'll give you the library, assuming your a book person."
