I ran my fingers through my hair as the water washed away today's work. I wiped the soap away from my body and scrubbed my face one last time before shutting off the water. Sighing, I stood in the shower with my arms wrapped around myself before finally stepping out on the cold tile floor. I put on the clothes Lily gave me and wiped the floor. My hair looked pretty good natural so I left it down and shut the light off in the bathroom. I found Lily sitting on the bed when I got back to the guest room.
"Ready to go?" She smiled sweetly at me.
"Uh, where?" I squeezed my hair between the towel one last time and looked at her in confusion. Tim and Sebastian walked into the room.
"Ready?" Tim smiled bright along with the other two.
"Where are we going?" I tossed the towel in the hamper and looked at them. No one answered me until I slipped on my shoes.
"We're going into town to shop. For you mainly but we need stuff." Tim nodded with a smile.
I chuckled and crossed my arms, "No, no way. I can't let you guys buy me clothes."
"You live here now. You're apart of the family. We buy you clothes." Tim crossed his arms in return and smiled smugly. I scoffed and reluctantly followed them out to the car.
"But I'm not part of your family." I put my seatbelt on and ignored Sebastian's closeness. Why'd he have to sit in the middle?
"You are now." Lily said in a sing song voice. I rolled my eyes and stared out the window the whole ride. It was a half hour to get from Findley Lake to Lakewood. Sebastian had told me during the ride that we would be going to a mall.
"It's huge." He motioned at the size with his hands. His eyes had a far away look as he thought back to what it looked like. "It has a bunch of these stores and so many people." He grinned at me.
"Sounds good." I smiled and looked back out the window. I could see the building in the distance as we pulled into the massive parking lot. It wasn't as big as I had imagined and only had two floors that looked like only one level. We walked to the front door and I stared up at the sign.
"Chant, Cha-" I stuttered the name.
"Chautauqua Mall." Sebastian chuckled and walked inside. I followed slowly and Tim and Lily after me. We made it about half way in before Lily and Tim snuck off.
"Wait, where are you going?" I said as panic rose in my chest.
"Just to go shopping. Sebastian will show you around. Have fun! Meet here for dinner." Lily grinned and pointed to a Ruby Tuesday before Tim pulled her away into the Bath & Body store. I crossed my arms and went to follow when Sebastian placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Here, I'll take you shopping. They probably want alone time anyways." He smiled softly and I pursed my lips before nodding. I followed him further into the mall as he lead me towards an Old Navy.
A woman, who I assumed worked there, greeted us at the door. I nodded and smiled in her direction while Sebastian completely ignored her. Sebastian looked around the whole store before walking towards the woman's clothing. I realized I didn't have money and reached out. My fingers grazed his shoulder and he stopped quick.
"Where are you going? Men's is that way." I pointed up at the sign and avoided his eyes. He had a deep look and his irises were liquid.
"We're shopping for you." He smirked, breaking his trance.
"I don't have money." I gave him a dumb look and he laughed.
"I do." He continued and walked to the jeans. I watched him as he glanced at my legs, probably guessing my size. He picked up a few pairs and handed them to me.
