Sorry for the later update guys but here you go!! Enjoy!

It had been two weeks since Sophie and Nick became a couple. It was a new experience for Sophie but she felt like she was getting the hang of it. Every day Nick would brings small little gifts for Sophie and he would constantly hold her hand whenever he could. He also took her on several more dates so they were getting closer.

All the friends knew about it. Everyone seemed to be fine with it but lately Fitz has been acting a bit strange towards Sophie. And Sophie was getting lots of "I told you so" from Biana and Marella.

Speaking of Marella, she finally asked Dex to be her boyfriend and he agreed. They were perfect for each other and it was so touching to see Marella helping Dex out every day since he was in a wheel chair.

The only friend that had no idea about Sophie and Nick being a couple was Keefe. Keefe had not gone to school at all during the past two weeks. None of the friends knew where he was at all.

Fitz—given he was Keefe's best friend—had only heard that Keefe was "busy."
It was actually beginning to concern Sophie.

So, when school ended that day, Sophie walked straight to Keefe's house after getting the address from Fitz. Nick insisted on coming with but Sophie assured him that she should go alone. Sophie was going to figure out what was going on with Keefe.

Sophie eventually made it to the enormous mansion that Keefe lived at. It was a bit creepy looking and it reminded Sophie of Gru's house from Despicable Me.

Sophie took a deep breath as she made it to the front steps and knocked on the door. Sophie held her breath as she could hear her knock echo through the inside of the house.

After a few seconds, Sophie heard footsteps coming and then then door opened revealing it to be none other than Cassius.

"Ah Sophie Foster," Cassius said, emphasizing every syllable. "What brings you here?"

Sophie gulped as she remembered how disturbing Cassius could be. Sophie had honestly hoped that Keefe would have been the one to answer the door. "U-Um I just um wanted t-to know if I c-could see Keefe," Sophie stuttered, keeping her hands down from tugging her eyelashes out.

Cassius made an annoyed expression as he rolled his eyes. "Keefe as in my disappointing child? Well he's not home. In fact, lately, he has barely been home at all."

Huh?

"Wait—he's never home? Then where is he then?" Sophie asked, wonderingly.

"I don't know," Cassius said, looking bored. "He's not being cooperative lately at all."

"How long has he been gone like this?" Sophie asked.

"For like two weeks."

Two weeks? That matched up the timeline perfectly to when he started to not come to school.

After a beat of awkward silence, Sophie asked, "do you know why he's never home?" At this point, Sophie started to worry.

"No," Cassius snapped. "Well—if that's all you needed, then you can—"

"Wait!" Sophie exclaimed, stopping Cassius from shutting the door. "Can I come in? I'd like to stay here until Keefe comes back."

"Honestly Sophie, it's not even worth your time. The kid is stubborn."

"Stubborn or not, Keefe is my friend and unlike some people here, I actually care about him. So if I have to stay here all night long, if that's what it takes, then I'd do it," Sophie snapped, glaring at Cassius.
